NO. 6 BLAZINGULCH: In another amazing race these two maidens were being trained by Clifford Sise Jr. BLAZINGULCH was sent off at 72-1 while his stablemate WE GO NOW was 3/2. Jockey Prat falls off the 3/2 shot after he stumbles out of the gate and GULCH storms home for the win, paying $142.20. You just can’t make this stuff up. I love this game.
RACE 7
NO. 4 ALLTHELEAVESRBROWN: Had a horrible trip in this $8k claimer as jockey S. Gonzalez is not on his game this meet. This gelding broke slow and was steadied when squeezed off to lose his best shot. He made a four-wide run to finish third. We will use next time out but upgraded with a jock change.
RACE 8
NO. 8 FROSTED BOSS: Perfect name for a horse running during December. In this $20k maiden claimer he was forced out at the start but got to the inside and made a good run the entire race to be second by more than five lengths clear of the rest. He looks to have found his level and kid Solis is a good fit
