SANTA ANITA
RACE 1
NO. 2 FALCONE: It took a few races for this colt to finally break his maiden but break it he did going 1 1/8 miles on the grass, drawing away down the lane. These types have a way of coming right back and repeating against winners. He will be hard to beat next out going-long on the grass.
RACE 7
NO. 6 KINGLY: Sometimes you need to see it to believe it. Kingly was a first-time 2-year-old starter for Baffert, who has been winning all of these races, especially when Van Dyke was on. This colt got home beating the odds-on Stratford End, who was once again overbet. The key here was that Kingly paid $10.20. Amazing.
