SANTA ANITA

RACE 6

NO. 1 ACCLIMATE: He really wanted to run in this mile turf race from his rail post as he was pulling jockey Tiago Pereira hard down on the inside and then was sent between runners on the second turn but had to angle back in for room. He kept running on, just missing the place money by a head. We like his chances next out at this level and distance.

NO. 2 GEORGIE HYPHEN: Was just pulling his jockey out of the irons wanting to be let loose. He pulled down on the rail and found no room and was in tight and checked hard when crowded. Once out, he never got going again and had to settle for fourth place. Look for better next out.
