NO. 8 RUN MACHO RUN: First time starter for trainer Richard Baltas ran huge at 12/1. He finished second less than two lengths behind the even-money lone speed. Was gaining at the end in this $32k maiden claimer and finished almost four lengths in front of the rest in this nine horse field.
RACE 6
NO. 4 RALIS: Was stuck on the far outside in the Del Mar Derby but came running like a freight train late, just missing by a dwindling half a length. We will see this guy at Santa Anita going long on the grass. He will be worth the wait. $$$$$
