No. 4 PLACIDO: Was exiting our HTW list and going 1-1/16 but was caught on the far outside in this 10 horse field. He was five wide into the first turn and four wide into the second turn. He fell back but came on some again. We will be on him again next time out with a better set up.

No. 5 MONDAYMORNINGBLUES: This is our watch-and-ready-to-win-next-out play of the week. This 2yo filly had a horrible trip first out of the box for Peter Miller. She was steadied when in tight off heels both on the turn and along the rail. Once clear she loomed boldly and just missed the show dough by a nostril. No mistakes next time out with a clean trip. Single all the way in the pick five. $$$$$

No. 2 ARMS RUNNER, CISTRON: These two just met in the Desert Code going down the hill. Cistron looked all the winner down the lane but the up and coming Arms Runner just blew by him to win going away. Cistron finished second more than seven lengths clear of the rest. We could see these two hook up again. If so, it will be exacta time.
