NO. 3 FORTUNATE QUEEN: Had been working well coming into this six furlong race at Los Alamitos TB but had no shot at the runaway speed. This filly made a nice four-wide run to be a clear second, more than four lengths clear of the rest in this straight maiden race. She ran on like a flat mile could be her thing. We will be using her as a single next time out. $$$$$

NO. 12 FRITZ JOHANSOEN (NOTE ON ALSO LIST AND MUST DRAW IN): Unusual Heat gelding has always showed promise. He came into this $25k claimer in good form and got hot-riding Kent D in the irons. Won this mile turf race by 1¼ lengths but it could not have been easier as Kent had a long tight hold on him and plenty left in the tank. He was claimed by Peter Miller, a great pick up. Look for a quick return on the $25k investment
