NO. 2 SPIN ME A KISS: Just love this filly going off at more than 10-1 for trainer D’Amato. She was gunned from the gate by Maldonado and just got caught by the 2-1 chalk, losing by a nostril while 4-1/2 lengths clear of the rest. Single all the way next time out. $$$

NO. 4 RIVER ECHO: One of the few losers for the high percentage hook-up of Peter Miller and jockey Arroyo. Pressed the pace in this mile race while down on the inside. Had to wait for room leaving the second turn, which may have cost him the race. Came on strong, just missing by less than a length while finishing willingly. No mistakes next out at this level and distance. $$$$$
