SANTA ANITA
RACE 1
NO. 2 EDDIE HASKELL: The blinkers went on and O’Neill sent him five furlongs on the grass. He responded with the “beaver” Prat riding to win going away. This one may have found a home sprinting on the grass and we thought he would just be a ball boy or fireman.
RACE 8
NO. 3 MESA SKY: Was last seen back in October at Santa Anita breaking his maiden. He came back in this spot and ran a strong race at 21/1 coming off the pace to get the win. He looks much better nowadays and could repeat at another good price.
