OAKLAWN PARK
LITTLE RED FROG: Was in from the Fairgrounds for trainer Michael Maker and was going six furlongs. She was sitting mid-pack looking to launch a winning move when she encountered traffic entering the turn. She had to angle out as she looked for clear sailing but had to swing five wide. She came home fast once straighten for the drive down the lane to be a clear second, more than seven lengths clear of the rest.
DEFENDER: Lost all shot at the break when he broke in the air spotting his rivals several lengths. He was moved to inside and rushed up to get into contention, he gave his best but just could not totally recover after the bad start. He did hang in there for the show money in what was a gutty effort.

KENZOUS RHYTHM: Looked to be sitting in a great spot but had to swing out wide into the lane for room, he then got put in tight and had to be steadied hard. He never was able to get back in gear after the trouble, we will give him a big shot next out.
ALTITO: Broke slow to be dead last, he moved out into the far turn making a nice four-wide run making a big late rally finishing fourth just missing the place and show in a three horse photo. Look for another big effort next out and a trip to the winners’ circle.
