CHAMPERS: Comes off a huge effort in this maiden race going a mile on the grass when losing a three horse photo in the money. He looks to have found his niche going long on the grass and will be hard to beat next out at a mile or longer.

FLOWER POINT: Just blasted home from last to first in a 5½-furlong turf sprint at Santa Anita. She ran like she loves these short turf sprints and will be a solid play next out on the five-furlong Del Mar grass course. We love Flavien Prat riding for John Sadler.

NONNO’S POLARIS: First-time starter for trainer Hector Palma just ran much too good in a losing effort. He broke slow into stride and dropped back on the inside, was switched out into the stretch and just surged with a big late run to miss by a head.

GIZA GODDESS-MUCHO UNUSUAL-HIDDEN MESSAGE-RAYMUNDOS SECRET: These four girls all exit the Grade 3 Autumn Miss stakes at a mile on the grass. They were all within a length of one another at the wire and we would love to see them hook up again at Del Mar next out. It will be trifecta time and superfecta time if all four meet again. If just two of them meet it will be an exacta box.
