The daughter of former Philadelphia Mayor Frank Rizzo will escape jail time under a proposal made by a U.S. District judge. She faced a banking charge after her husband and her son pleaded guilty to racketeering and illegal gambling charges.

Judge Jan DuBois said the charges against her would be dropped after all people (more than a dozen) who have pleaded guilty are sentenced.

Joanna Mastronardo’s husband, Joseph “Joe Vito” Mastronardo Sr. and her 31-year-old son, Joey Mastronardo, face jail time.
