Kraken vs. Stars Betting News

The Dallas Stars showed up on the road to even up the second-round series. They bounced back from a disappointing loss earlier in the week to win 6-3 behind a strong second-period effort.

Jamie Benn opened up scoring in the first period with a wrist shot assisted by Roope Hintz. With a 1-0 lead after twenty minutes, the Stars unleashed a four-goal performance in the second period. Joe Pavelski netted his sixth goal of the series with a wrist shot halfway through the game — the veteran made history with his four-goal effort in the series opener.

Thomas Harley, Max Domi, and Hintz also scored in the second period. Domi added his second goal of the night with an empty netter late into the third to keep the Kraken at bay.

Jordan Eberle managed to draw the game a little closer in the second period with his goal cutting the deficit to three goals. Jaden Schwartz and Adam Larrson found the back of the net in the third, cutting the lead to 5-3. The Stars’ defense locked down for the remainder of the game to hold onto the lead and catch the win.

Dallas was efficient with the man advantage, going two-for-three on the power play. Seattle failed to capitalize on either of their two power play opportunities.

Jake Oettinger saved 16 of 19 shots faced in goal for the Dallas Stars. Kraken goalie Philip Grubauer went 17-for-22 before being replaced by Martin Jones. Jones went two-for-two in relief.
