LOS ALAMITOS TB

Race 1

No. 2 For the Lovof Patty drops to a level where her speed will play well with Maldo gunning from the bell. No. 3 Coco Smooches could be dangerous with the light weight and she will be a nice price. 2-3

Race 2

No. 1 Papa de Gatto comes off the layoff but likes this track and gets Roman in the irons. Bug girl Laura Werner gets on No. 4 Not Chopped Liver on the drop, she is a player with these. 1-4

Race 3

$20k maiden claimers don’t get much weaker than this one. No. 4 Twisted Candy is a first time starter with some solid works after him we would need to hit the all button. 4 (all).

Race 4

More $20k maiden claimers. No. 2 Papa Royale ran second at this level last out and now Roman gets the call for O’Neill. No. 3 Specimen could be a player if he can show his once early speed. No. 5 Vow’s Son could pop from off the pace. No. 9 Wondering Ways has a good last work here and will fall into a good stalking position. 2-3-5-9

Race 5

3yo $10k claimers go a mile. No. 1 Charismic had his claiming price hacked in half as he looks for his level. No. 2 Kiss Limit lost at 8/5 last out when dropped to this level, we will give him another shot. No. 4 Runasaurus Rex gets off the grass, drops in class and gets a break in the weights, all good for this barn.

1-2-4

Race 6

THE $100K BERTRANDO STAKES AT A MILE

No. 2 Smokey Image has been pointing for this and will be firing right from the gate. No. 3 Soi Phet loves this track and lost this race last year by a half length. David Flores gets on No. 5 Taman Guard for Hollendorfer, this gelding won off the layoff and broke her maiden here last year first out to the box, he runs his race every time. 2-3-5

Race 7

Cal bred $50k maiden 2yo fillies go five furlongs. Bejarano gets on first time starter No. 3 Miss Diamond G for O’Neill, her works say ready. Tyler Baze rides No. 6 Jinn Win a first time start who could be ready to run. No. 10 Meet My Kitty has been working steady here and is a must use. 3-6-10

Race 8

THE 6-1/2 FURLONG GRADE II GREAT LADY M STAKES FOR $200K

No. 2 Constellation is one tough cookie who just missed in the Grade I Madison last out at Keeneland by a neck, if she can handle this course she wins. No. 7 Finest City is on consistent mare, she finished second by a neck behind Paulssilverlining who beat Constellation last out. 2-7

Race 9

Now we get $6,250 claimers going 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 2 Swiss Cheese comes off the layoff for Hess, he has plenty of holes in him but if able to run back to his race for this price in February he could win. No. 4 Boompa gets his second try at this level and looks right there second off the layoff. At one time No. 6 Prohibition Repeal would have crushed these. 2-4-6
