Starter allowance runners travel a mile. No. 1 Kona Coast comes off a nice win last out at Del Mar, his speed will play well here. No. 4 Beantown Boys has run here three times with three seconds, he has a big last work and Pena can ride this course. No. 5 Upper Room comes off a nice win and a $25k Hollendorfer claim. No. 6 Point Piper is the stablemate of Upper Room and he is in top form. 1-4-5-6

Race 6

Starter allowance runners go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 5 Bow and Arrow is a course specialist who has won 3 of his 4 starts here with a second, he gets his first start off the $20k claim. No. 9 New Karma is very consistent and gets a break in the weights. 5-9

Race 7

Cal bred optional $20k claimers go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 3 King Abner has a nice last work and looks spotted for the win, we will single. 3

Race 8

We will go singling again using No. 3 Pulpit’s Dirty Red on the drop for Eurton with Roman on board again, bet him to cash. 3**
