Race 1

No. 2 Passing drops in from straight maiden races and moves from the turf to the dirt and a route to a sprint, Edwin Maldonado will ride today. No. 3 Drink looks the speed. 2-3

Race 2

In this Cal bred six furlong sprint will side with No. 3 Young Hendrick who will be a short price, he gets off the grass and finds little to beat. 3

Race 3

This five furlong $8k claimer is really bad. My suggestion is go have a cookout…Well someone has to win. No. 6 Handsome John takes a big class drop and a good post, his only win came when Evin Roman rode him in his maiden breaker and he is back on today for Robert Hess. 6

Race 4

Cal bred maiden fillies and mares travel 5-1/2 furlongs for a $50k price tag. No. 1 Dunbow Road is a first time starter out of the dam Crystal Kris who has dropped 3 winners from 3 starters, she will need to flee the rail. No. 4 Flying to the Lane will be odds on in here, she gets blinkers on and will be looking to take them wire-to-wire paying around $2.80. 4-1

Race 5

Cal bred maiden 2yo go five furlongs and trainer Peter Miller sends out two runners in this six horse field before scratches. No. 1 Bluegrass Faith with Giovanni Franco up and No. 2 Mainframe Judy with Jose Leon, he will be the price of the two. 2-1

Race 6

$12,500 runners go seven furlongs. No. 4 Alfareed comes off a top effort going a mile at Santa Anita on June 7th. No. 5 Captain N. Barron is the price play, he comes off a maiden win but had his claim voided. He has come back to work very well. No. 6 Drill Time drops and is a must use. 4**-5-6

Race 7

$40k optional fillies and mares travel a mile. No. 4 Watheeqa comes off a nice win last out, her first on the main track after six turf races. No. 3 Catoca gets blinkers on and Maldo up for a low profile trainer, we could get an overlay. 4-3

Race 8

Maiden fillies and mares travel six furlongs and we get Bob Baffert sending out two runners. No. 2 Shocking Fast a fist time starter with a big five furlong work and No. 8 Raneem who gets her 3rd start and second off the layoff, she will be the likely chalk. 2***-8

Race 9

$20k maidens go six furlongs. We will single the No. 2 Siculo off the layoff for Peter Miller who claimed this guy for $32k at Del Mar last year. He looks very sneaky in this very soft field and at 3-1 we will take our shot with Franco riding we say wire-to-wire. 2***
