Race 1

We get $8k claimers going 5-1/2 furlongs and six horse running have run a total of 122 races with total wins at just 6, this is not a nice group of runners. No. 6 Frankie Machine at least has only race eight times, he has a race over the track and will get a nice trip from this post. 6

Race 2

$30k maidens go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 1 Union Ride is the key runner in here on the drop and his good second first out of the box at Santa Anita. He will need to flee the rail but we think he can. We will use him with No. 3 Street Image, the speed, No. 4 My Way Out, a first time starter for Lerner and No. 7 Vermeer who will lend more speed to the race. 1**with 3-4-7

Race 3

In what is just another bad group of $6,250 runners we will side with the dropper No. 5 Curly’s Mark on the turnback in distance and Tiago Pereira sticking with this 4yo gelding. 5

Race 4

No. 3 LA PURISSIMA exits our HTW list and looks to have these over a barrel. We will play on her to win and make exacta boxes using No. 7 Laker Jet and No. 8 Fuega. 3***with 7-8

Race 5

No. 2 Rocket Ship drops looking to cash. No. 6 Nileist gets her second start since moving to the Andrew Lerner barn. Before that she was running back east for Steve Asmussen, bet her to cash. No. 7 Dawood drops a notch and looks live in this spot. 6**-7-2

Race 6

No. 3 Bam Bams Lil River has won both of her starts here at Los Al TB. No. 5 Gadot is well spotted by Vladimir Cerin. No. 6 Tick Tock gets the leading jock up and drops in class. 3-5-6

Race 7

No. 1 Spectacular Storm has been quarterhorsing here and Ramon Guce sticks. He knows this filly well and owns a win and a second by a nose in his two rides on her. No. 4 Tiger Mom has run here six times with 3 seconds and 3 thirds, she can beat this field. 4-1

Race 8

We get $20k maiden fillies and mares and on the surface no one can win. No. 7 Gallantlystreaming gets blinkers off and goes long, she can win by default. 7 (all).
