Race 1

Lets look on the surface in this five horse $50k cal bred maiden claimer for 2yo fillies. No. 5 A Royal Ace looks odds on off his last start here at this level and distance when running a solid second, after her, hit the all button. 5**

Race 2

No. 1 Champagne Honey is perfectly spotted off the maiden win here on June 30th. The problem is that he will encounter a lot of other early speed. No. 3 Dramatic Ride ships in for Jonathan Wong and looks very dangerous in this spot and own three lifetime wins. No. 5 An Ocala Ten is very fast and gets a big drop by Peter Miller, in the end we will use just two runners in here. 3-5

Race 3

On the surface no one can win this $20k maiden claimer but one of these will win. We must use the first time starter No. 4 L’Aquila as he has still not a proven loser. No. 5 Monceros looks the speed of the speed.

Race 4

Maiden 2yo go 5 ½ furlongs, No. 4 We’re Still Here lost by a nostril first out of the box when bet down to .70 cents on the dollar. His last work was a sizzler, after him the main danger will come from one of the three live first time starters. No. 1 Old Trafford, No. 2 Ginobili and No. 3 Silent Fury. 4**-1-2-3

Race 5

$20k maidens go five furlongs. No. 2 Gas Can showed good early speed here on June 29th. She has come back to work good and she has a shot vs the boys in this soft field. No. 5 Caprivi Strip is a first time starter for Philip D’Amato and gets the bug boy Jorge Velez up off a big last work. 5-2

Race 6

$16k claimers travel a mile. No. 3 Zip the Monkey will be launching a late run looking to run down the tiring front runners. We say he gets up on at the wire with Tiago Pereira riding.  3**

Race 7

No. 1 Princess Dorian is a closer who will find a fast early pace to make her last run. No. 2 Baby Ice will be sitting chilly right behind the speed and look to make one run. No. 6 Tiz Toffee is in tip top form and a must use. 1-2-6

Race 8

No. 4 Rick’s Dream is in good form and loves this track, he can win on the move up off the big win last out at Santa Anita. No. 5 Denman’s Call has seen better days but fits here on the drop. 4-5

Race 9

$30k maiden 3yo fillies go 5 ½ furlongs. No. 5 Appolina has run four times and finished second in all four. Once again she is the one to beat, we can’t find the one who can beat her is the only problem.

Race 10

The card and meet ends with an $8k claimer at five furlongs as we head to Del Mar. No. 3 Party Hostess comes off a nice win here last out as does No. 5 Handsome John. No. 6 Love Your Life is in from Golden Gate. He has run here seven times and has hit the board in six of those races. 3-5-6
