LOS ALAMITOS TB

Race 1

Optional $40k 2yo fillies go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 1 We Will Re Joyce draws the bad rail post for this distance but broke her maiden here at this distance from post two when going wire-to-wire. No. 3 Innyminniemineymoe will be out winging it on the front end. No. 4 Midnight Summer gets off the grass and will sit right behind the two speedballs. 4-3-1

Race 2

Starter allowance runners who have run for a claiming price of $50k or less go a flat mile. No. 2 Saldamente is still a maiden but finds a very weak field. No. 5 Hawks Peak stretches out and will try and take them on a merry chase with Roman getting on today. 2-5

Race 3

THE $300K GRADE I CASH CALL FUTURITY AT 1-1/16

Bob Baffert holds two aces in the hole here with No. 3 Solomini off a big time second in the BC Juvenile and No. 5 McKinzie who exits our HTW list off a stunning maiden score first out. 3-5

Race 4

THE $300K GRADE I STARLET AT 1-1/16

No. 3 Dream Tree is the key player in here off of back to back wins at odds on and even money. Baffert looks to win both Grade I today, the main danger will come from No. 2 Piedi Bianchi who is exiting 3 straight Grade I races and No. 4 War Heroine who exits our HTW list and Prat is in for the re-ride.

3-2-4

Race 5

We will take a stand in this $20k maiden claimer for fillies and mares going a mile and single No. 4 Hotsy Dotsy who makes her 15th start but first here, she looks to be just sitting on the win at this level and hs found a field she can surely beat. 4

2nd 2-5

3rd 3-5

4th 2-3-4

5th 4 (.50 cent pick five cost $18.00).

Race 6

$30k maiden 2yo go 5-1/2 furlongs. No. 4 Fabrication has run his best two races here. No. 7 Big Hunk drops from a straight maiden turf race which was his first start and has back to back big works for this. 4-7

Race 7

This is one ugly five furlong race for a price tag of $6,250, the all button would be a good idea. No. 4 Helluva Choice is just that, he is in from New York and looks to have found a winning spot. No. 3 Always Never is the speed and has been quarter horsing here. 4-3

Race 8

Lots of early zip in this 5-1/2 furlong sprint for $20k optional claimers so we will use two runners who will sit and pounce. No. 4 Closing Time who drops from optional $50k and No. 7 Matriculate first off the O’Neill claim and a good last work. 4-7

Race 9

We need to go four deep in this $25k starter allowance race going a mile using No. 1 Just Kidding with Iggy gunning from the bell. No. 5 Chis and Dave who will be right on the pace from the start. No. 7 City Steel who will sit off the hot pace and close and No. 8 Red Carpet Cat who exits our HTW list and gets the back to going long and his last work was a pip! 1-5-7-8

Pick Four

7th 3-4

8th 4-7

9th 1-5-7-8 (.50 cent pick four cost $16.00).
