I’m always looking for new places to watch football while enjoying some drinks and food with friends. For a change of scenery we ventured downtown.
To be honest, I’ve been in almost every casino in Las Vegas at one time or another but one of the few I’ve never been in was Main Street Station… until now.
A group of us went to watch a Monday Night Football game at the Triple 7 Microbrewery & Restaurant. I would suggest getting there early for Monday Night Football because by game time the place was completely packed.
During the game the Triple 7 has free drawings for prizes. Just swipe your B Connected card at one of the kiosks inside the casino and you will receive a free entry to deposit inside the drum at the restaurant.
If you want a cold beer you can try one of their in-house micro brews. There are six different beers – High Roller Gold, Royal Red Lager, Marker Pale Ale, Double Down Hefeweizen, Black Chip Porter and Variable IPA. The IPA’s vary with alcohol content as high as 11%. If you like microbrews they will have something you will like with their wide selection of in-house brews.
Triple 7 has a pretty extensive menu of all your normal bar foods such as burgers, wings and other finger foods, plus fresh sushi. From 3-6 p.m. Monday to Friday they have Happy Hour featuring house wine, Well drinks and 16 oz. hand-crafted microbrews for just $2.50.
In addition to the drink specials during Happy Hour they also have several food specials like Triple 7 Wings for $6.99 or Asian Pot Stickers for $4.99 as well as many other items. They also have football specials on Monday and Thursday nights where you can get a microbrew and football item for one price.
Some of our favorite food items on the menu are the Cheesy Garlic Bread, Wings and Philly Cheesesteak.
The M&R has a very nice set up for watching football as no matter where you are seated there are plenty of TV’s right in front of you so you’ll never miss a play. They also have a wall of TV’s if you are sitting at the bar. By the way, they have not one but two long bars on each side of the restaurant.
The staff is very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. If you are downtown, wanting to kick back and relax, head over to Main Street Station’s Triple 7. I give them a rating of 3.50 Forks.
