Early look at Tournament
I’ll be looking for top seeded Duke or Kentucky to be the first high seeded teams knocked out of the tournament, maybe in the second round against the No. 8 or 9 seeds which look to be hungry, scrappy teams that will give them a game. I’m not a big fan of Duke away from Cameron arena and as soon as someone gives Kentucky a physical game with the loser going home being the stakes, I think they’ll crumble.
Teams I see doing some damage and knocking out higher seeds are Georgetown and Pittsburgh. I like the Big East teams because they’ve been in dog fights all year long.
A team I like to do some damage and upset a few getting to the round of sweet 16 is Richmond. They have won 10 of their last 11 games and have great guard play led by Kevin Anderson’s 17 points per game.
