Former top Las Vegas casino executive Michael Starr is the new Chief Executive Officer for Comanche Nation Entertainment, a leading Indian gaming operator in Oklahoma. Starr has already begun serving in his new position.

More recently Starr had served in a similar capacity at Little Creek Casino Resort, an Indian gaming complex in Shelton, Washington.

Starr, well known by Las Vegas insiders for his expertise in all phases of casino operations including hospitality and entertainment, began his career in 1981 at the legendary Sands Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Later he served in management positions at the Sahara Hotel & Casino, Luxor Hotel & Casino, Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino and Excalibur Hotel & Casino.

Starr had been running Little Creek Casino Resort since 2012.

Comanche Nation Entertainment’s casinos in Oklahoma include Comanche Nation Casino, Comanche Red River Hotel Casino, Comanche Spur Casino and Comanche Star Casino.

Comanche Nation Entertainment is the entity responsible for running the Comanche Oklahoma casinos. The entity is directly tied to the Comanche Nation. Comanche tribal enrollment now numbers 15,191 with approximately 7,763 members residing in the Lawton-Ft. Sill and surrounding areas of Southwest Oklahoma. The Comanche Nation headquarters complex is located nine miles north of Lawton, Oklahoma.
