FanDuel Dinger Tuesdays

Head to FanDuel, and you’ll see the “Dinger Tuesdays” promo on the promotions page or once you navigate to the MLB section. The first step is opting into this promo. Once you’ve opted in, here’s how it works:

  • Place a pre-live, straight “To Hit a Home Run” wager of $25 for any player in any game (in this case, any game scheduled for Tuesday, April 9).
  • Regardless of whether the player you wager on hits a home run, you’ll receive $5 in bonus bets for each home run hit by either team in that game. For example, if you bet $25 on Mike Trout to hit a homer (+300) in the Angels-Rays game, and the teams combine to go yard three times, you’d get $15 in bonus bets from FanDuel.

Best FanDuel Dinger Tuesday Plays for April 9, 2024

Speaking of Mike Trout, he’s always a solid “To Hit a Home Run” option. A good strategy for this promo, though, is to bet on the games that are expected to be the highest-scoring. On April 9, the Brewers vs. Reds (O/U 9.5), Mets vs. Braves (O/U 9.5), and Diamondbacks vs. Rockies (O/U 11) matchups have the highest Over/Unders on FanDuel.

With the Rockies welcoming the D-backs to hitter-friendly Coors Field, picking a player in this matchup is a good starting point, especially after these teams combined for 12 runs in a 7-5 win by Colorado on Monday. Arizona boasts three players who are worth a look in this game: Christian Walker (+300), Joc Pederson (+350), and Eugenio Suarez (+360). Also, remember that even if your bet on one of those players misses, you’ll get bonus bets for every HR that gets hit in this game.

As for the Mets-Braves game, consider going with Atlanta’s Matt Olson (+330), who has had three homers this season.

In Brewers vs. Reds, consider backing Christian Yelich, who is intriguing at +520 after hitting four homers in 30 at-bats on the season, including two in his team’s last three games.
