We’re going back to the well with Alvarez, but we’re going to play it a little differently. He’s been money on total bases, RBIs, and runs scored. There’s a good chance Rangers pitchers will be a bit more cautious tonight and potentially walk him instead of him delivering damage.
In this postseason, Alvarez has crossed the plate in every game except Game 1 of the ALCS. Given that the odds are available at near plus money, and the Astros offense should do very well again tonight, this prop looks more appealing than total bases.
