Today’s MLB Strikeout Prop Bets
There are three pitching matchups we have our eyes on for today’s slate. The odds will vary between sportsbooks, so be sure to shop around for the best lines when betting on these MLB strikeout props. We’re using odds from DraftKings here, but you can compare prices on our MLB odds page.
Dean Kremer Over 5.5 (-140, DraftKings)
The Baltimore Orioles will start Dean Kremer today in the first of a three-game homestand against the Minnesota Twins. Kremer has been instrumental in the O’s success this season with an 8-3 record and an ERA of 4.50. He has 29 strikeouts in five June starts, an average of 5.8 strikeouts per game.
Along with Kremer’s recent performance on the mound, he gets a favorable matchup against a Twins’ lineup that has struggled against right-handed pitchers. Minnesota’s 28.3% strikeout percentage against right-handed pitchers is the second-worst rate in the league. The Twins lead the league with the most strikeouts over the last month.
Kremer’s strikeout prop is currently listed at 5.5 at DraftKings Sportsbook. One of the best MLB pitching props for today, Kremer should hit the Over today against a struggling Minnesota lineup.
Jose Berrios Over 4.5 (-160, DraftKings)
With the Boston Red Sox in town, the Toronto Blue Jays are starting Jose Berrios on the mound this afternoon. The Over on his strikeouts is one of the MLB pitching props we’re eyeing for today’s slate. Berrios has posted an ERA of 3.60 and an 8-5 record this season.

Despite a rough start to the year, Berrios has been effective in his recent starts. He has a 3-1 record in June with a 3.03 ERA and 25 strikeouts. His most recent start was an eight-strikeout performance last week against the Oakland A’s.
Berrios gets a favorable matchup against the Red Sox. Boston has the seventh-lowest on-base percentage this season on the road and has logged the ninth-most strikeouts over the past 15 days.
Michael Lorenzen Over 4.5 (-110, DraftKings)
Betting a pitcher prop bet on a pitcher on the road in Colorado doesn’t always sound wise, but Michael Lorenzen gets a favorable matchup with attractive odds this afternoon. DraftKings currently lists his strikeout prop at 4.5 for tonight’s Detroit Tigers vs. Colorado Rockies game.
Lorenzen has had an up-and-down season with just a 2-5 record and a 3.97 ERA. He’s eclipsed four strikeouts in just two of his last five starts, but he’ll face a Colorado team that has struck out the second-most times over the last month. Although the Rockies have fared better on their home field, this is an attainable strikeout total for Lorenzen to cover.
One of our favorite MLB pitcher strikeout props for today’s games, we like Lorenzen to hit the over tonight in Denver.
