Columbus Crew vs. Nashville SC: Moneyline & Total
In a weekend filled with relatively slow games, a lack of star squad players, and the Gold Cup, fans can appreciate this matchup. The Crew and Nashville both sit towards the top of the Eastern Conference and have an even scorecard in their times out on the pitch together. Each side recorded two wins and two draws in their six matches.
Columbus will be missing Aiden Morris due to international call-up, however, the club is stacked with goal scorers and will still be able to put up a fight. This will be a competition of two strong, and mostly full, offensive sides.

Both clubs have seen record-breaking streaks that back up their ability to perform on the pitch. Columbus has only lost one of their last 15 home matches, dating back to last August. Nashville broke their club record of a 10-game unbeaten streak in MLS regular season games after a 1-0 loss to CF Montréal.
The last time these clubs met on the pitch was May 28, resulting in a 3-1 Nashville SC win. We saw Nashville goals from Fafà Picault, Teal Bunbury, Hany Mukhtar, and the sole Columbus goal from Yaw Yeboah. Columbus took the lead early in the second minute but was unable to hold their ground, while Nashville stayed steady scoring their three goals up until the 97th minute.
Columbus is missing Aiden Morris while he is called up on international duty, but the squad still has lead scorer, Christian Ramírez. The 32-year-old MLS vet has scored six goals, including three goals in his last five games, and recorded one assist on the season so far. Also on our radar is Cucho Hernàndez has contributed to a goal in the last nine matches, recording four goals and seven assists.
Nashville is on a bit of a hot streak right now, regardless of their 10-match unbeaten streak ending last week in a loss to Montréal. Nashville has held a strong defense this season, only conceding more than one goal in one match out of their last 19. Nashville has Joe Willis to thank for this, recording six clean sheets this season, and he has a save success rate of 80.8%. On the offense, Nashville has Hany Mukhtar, scoring an impressive 13 goals and recording six assists this season.

While it will be a competitive game to watch, Nashville is the better team and will walk away with the win. Columbus has had an impressive season but struggles to find consistency, which is even harder when your playmaker at midfield is called up for international duty. Nashville has the streak, the defense, and an explosive goal scorer to seal the deal on Saturday.
Prediction: Nashville 2-1 Columbus | Over 2.5 goals
Goal Scorers: Hany Mukhtar +160 | Christian Ramírez +180
