The Golden State Warriors hold a 3-2 series lead over the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals after a 104-94 win on Monday. Golden State is now a big favorite to win the series at sportsbooks including DraftKings. The Warriors were offered at -360 and the Celtics +290 as of Tuesday morning.

Game 6 is set for Thursday night in Boston.

If we told you that Steph Curry would be held to 16 points ahead of Game 5, you’d think that the Celtics were heading back to Boston on Thursday with a chance to clinch the NBA Finals. But Golden State received some scoring support from Andrew Wiggins (26 points) and Klay Thompson (21) to prevail.

The Warriors are now win away from capturing their fourth NBA Championship in the last eight years.

Jayson Tatum led the Celtics again with 27 points and 10 boards. Tatum is the second betting favorite to win the NBA Finals MVP award. FanDuel offered him at +400 as of Tuesday morning.

Boston has overcome a 3-2 series deficit once already in the 2022 NBA Playoffs. The Celtics came back to defeat the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks to advance to the NBA’s Eastern Conference Finals.
