Lakers vs. Nuggets Player Props
Anthony Davis Over 9.5 Rebounds | Best Live Odds:
It is well-documented that Anthony Davis does not like playing center, but he is an absolute two-way force at that position. For the first time in his career, Davis played all of his minutes at center during the 2022-23 season for head coach Darvin Ham and re-established himself as one of the best players in the league.
As the NBA’s rebounding leader, the 30-year-old All-Star player averaged 12.5 rebounds (9.1 defensive and 3.5 offensive) in 56 regular season games and 14.1 (11.7 and 2.4) in 16 playoff games last season.
In four Western Conference Finals games against the Nuggets, Davis averaged 14 rebounds. While the Nuggets have one of the bigger frontcourts in the league with Nikola Jokic, Aaron Gordon, and Michael Porter Jr., they did not address Davis’ rebounding prowess in the offseason, so he should dominate the glass.
Suns vs. Warriors Player Props
Stephen Curry Over 4.5 Three-Pointers Made | Best Live Odds:
After a 2022-23 season that ended earlier than expected, Stephen Curry is well-rested and motivated.
In Year 14, the two-time MVP returned to his old shooting ways and nearly had another 50-40-90 season (49.3 percent from the field, 42.7 percent from the three-point line, and 91.5 percent from the free-throw line).
Although the Warriors primarily traded Jordan Poole for Chris Paul to improve their team chemistry, the trade allows Curry to play more off the ball on the court. With Curry coming off more screens instead of having to create for himself, it would not be surprising to see him go off against his former teammate in Kevin Durant.
