The Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns are a game away from closing out their respective series. But the home team has held serve throughout both conference semifinal tilts. That’s good news for the Philadelphia 76ers and Dallas Mavericks, respectively, who each have the benefit of home-court advantage as they try to stave off elimination in Game 6.

FanDuel Sportsbook and DraftKings Sportsbook offer bettors a deep catalog of player props and same-game parlays (SGP) to enhance NBA betting action.

As exciting as building SGP tickets can be, bettors are encouraged to do so responsibly. The promise of a large payout is enticing. However, as potential profits increase, so does the edge in the sportsbooks‘ favor. It’s never a bad idea to start small, particularly with parlays, since they require each leg to win in order for the ticket to cash.

Miami Heat vs. Philadelphia 76ers Game 6 Odds

Heat vs. 76ers Game 6 Player Props

Joel Embiid ‘Under’ 13.5 Combined Assists, Rebounds (DraftKings, +105)

Embiid has played reasonably well this series, all things considered, averaging 19.7 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 1.7 assists across three games. It’s reasonable to expect a rabid crowd to be present in Philadelphia and fully behind their team. And who gets the home support amped up like Embiid? Still, we’re just not bullish on him dominating the glass and in the distribution department. He hit this ‘over’ mark three times in the Sixers’ first-round series, yet he’s remained ‘under’ in all three games during the semis.

Jimmy Butler ‘Under 25.5 Points (FanDuel, -110)

We’ve seen Butler go off for big point totals this postseason — including this semifinal series. However, the element that stands out is the Heat lost the two games in which Butler attempted 20-plus shots. Two games is a small sample size, but tendencies don’t have anywhere to hide in a seven-game series. It’s reasonable to assume the Heat staff has recognized multiple factors that contributed to those losses, and among them may be more balanced performances from Butler, who can impact a game in a number of non-scoring ways.

Luka Doncic ‘under’ 51.5 Combined Points, Rebounds, Assists (DraftKings, -115)

We recognize the perceived downsides to betting this prop. For starters, it’s an ‘under’ on Doncic, which always feels risky. Secondly, bettors are required to lay -115 to back the ‘under’. Still, it’s worth appreciating just how big a number 51.5 is in this spot, even for a player of Doncic’s caliber. As well as Doncic has played during the postseason, he’s accumulated 52 combined points, rebounds, and assists one time. We’re well aware he’s capable of clipping the ‘over’ with room to spare. However, even though the Suns are on the road, they have the personality to clamp down on Luka — and the Mavs as a whole — and close out the series. If he goes bonkers and hits the ‘over’, bettors should simply tip their caps.

Devin Booker ‘Over’ 9.5 Combined Assists, Rebounds

Booker’s scoring exploits are such that it can be easy to overlook the other aspects of his game, particularly in the distribution department, where he’s had games of six, seven, and eight dimes this series. He’s also had totals of seven and nine boards, so he’s more than capable of approaching the ‘over’ in one stat category alone. And while it’s Booker’s teammate, Chris Paul, who has earned the title “Point God” for his distributing prowess, Booker leads the team in usage rate during the postseason and will continue to see a lot of the ball. He’s logged as many as 43 minutes this series, but even if he’s in the 35-38 range, he’ll have enough floor time to make a well-rounded impact.

Thursday NBA Same Game Parlays

If you’d like to sprinkle a few dollars on a same game parlay or two, we encourage you to look for correlated plays. For example, if you like Suns -1.5, consider combining that with Booker ‘overs’, and fading the Sixers makes sense to pair with Embiid ‘unders’,
