NBA PrizePicks for Thursday, Nov. 30

Here, we have included the NBA odds from some of our top-rated sports betting apps for each game we have a pick on tonight.

Deandre Ayton MORE Than 13.5 Points

The Portland Trail Blazers are in phase one of a rebuild, and it is going as you would expect. While the defense has been solid, they have had trouble scoring every night, as they rank last in points per game (104.8), effective field goal percentage (49.5%), and assists per game (21.8).

They’re also bringing down the fewest rebounds per game, which could be a fatal flaw tonight against a Cavaliers team that ranks sixth in defensive rebounds per game. However, this Trail Blazers team has a few bright spots, including former No. 1 overall pick Deandre Ayton.

While Ayton only puts up 13.3 points per game, that number is weighed down by some early-season struggles. Ayton is still not constantly putting up a big number on offense, but he has been playing much better lately. Over his last five games, Ayton has exceeded this number three times, averaging 16.4 points on 66.7% shooting from the field.

Cleveland has the best defense in the NBA, and they also play with one of the slowest paces in the league. This is not typically a good thing when taking the over on a player’s points prop, especially when that guy has to go up against some of the best defensive big men in the league, such as Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley.

Luckily, the Cavs allow the fourth-most points to opposing centers this season, and Cleveland does not shoot the ball all that well, which could lead to more possessions for Ayton to score. Both teams rank in the bottom half in possessions per play, which means there is not much room for error for Ayton to go over this number.

Cleveland’s elite defense is much better at guarding the perimeter than down low. The pace of play and Cleveland’s defense has deflated some of these scoring numbers, and this is a good spot to back Ayton to continue his solid offensive output.

Brandon Miller MORE Than 15 Points

The rookie out of Alabama is showing why he was one of the best scorers in the country last season. In his first 15 games, Brandon Miller puts up 14.4 points per game on 46.4% shooting from the field and 37.3% from deep.

One of the biggest concerns coming out of college was his effective shooting. At Alabama, Miller was taking a large number of shots per game, and even if he struggled, as he did late last year, he still let it fly. Luckily, he has been shooting the ball very well in his short career and is about to get a much more significant role with the Hornets.

With LaMelo Ball‘s injury sidelining him for the next few weeks, Charlotte will have to find a replacement for Ball’s offensive output. Based on how well Miller is shooting the ball, we can expect many of those shots to be put in his hands.

Among all rookies, Miller ranks fifth in shot attempts (179) and three-point attempts. While Miller is also slightly banged up, he has played over 30+ minutes in three straight games. During that stretch, he averages 17.7 points per game on 48.8% shooting from the field and 53% from beyond the arc.

The Nets’ defense has been decent this season, ranking seventh in shooting percentage and ninth in three-point shooting percentage. However, they also are giving up the third-most shots per game, including 39.1 coming from three.

Miller’s playing time has slowly been increasing, and it should increase even more with Ball’s injury. As long as he continues to get his shots up, Miller should be in an excellent spot to go over this number.

NBA PrizePicks Odds

Before submitting your NBA PrizePicks for tonight, you have two options:

  1. Power Play: Get a 5x payout on your initial wager if all three picks hit.
  2. Flex Play: Gives you protection on your PrizePicks.

The power play option turns your NBA PrizePicks into a simple prop parlay. Our two NBA PrizePicks give us a 3x payout if both bets win. For example, a $100 wager would return $300 in winnings if both our PrizePicks are winners.

For Flex Play, it gives you insurance on your PrizePicks but reduces your payout. If you choose Flex play, and all your picks win, you will get a 2x payout, but if only one pick hits, you will get a 0.5x payout.

However, if you add more picks, your payout will increase. For example, a four-pick slip gives you a 10x payout with the power play option, while flex play gives you a 1.5x payout for three out of four picks and a 5x payout for all four picks hitting.
