NBA PrizePicks for Tuesday, Nov. 21
Here, we have included the NBA odds from some of our top-rated sports betting apps for each game we have a pick on tonight.
Kevin Durant MORE Than 28.5 Points
Kevin Durant is putting up some pretty impressive scoring numbers right now. He is averaging over 30 points per game for the first time since 2013-14, and while his shooting numbers are slightly down, he is taking more shots than ever.
Most of this is due to injuries to Bradley Beal and Devin Booker, who have played a combined eight games this season. The Suns do not have a ton of offensive firepower outside of their Big Three, which means Durant is the majority of the Suns’ offensive production right now.
He is taking 20.5 shots per game, is playing just under 38 minutes a night, and is getting to the free-throw line more than he has since his days with Oklahoma City. Durant has gone over this number in five of his last seven games, and during that period, he is averaging 34.3 points per game on 58% shooting from deep.
Not only is he hitting a high percentage of his shots right now, but it is coming on over 20 shots, including 5.4 three-pointers per game. At this point, we know Durant will get plenty of attempts up; it is just a matter of hitting enough to go over this number.
Luckily, Durant and the Suns are taking on a terrible Portland defense. While the Trail Blazers do a good job limiting the three ball, they rank towards the bottom in most defensive categories, including shooting percentage, shooting efficiency, and effective field goal percentage.
Portland is also dealing with some key injuries, as Malcolm Brogdon and Anfernee Simons are both OUT, and the loss of Robert Williams for the season a few weeks ago is a big blow to their defense in the paint.
As long as Durant continues to get his shots up, he should fly past this scoring number.
LeBron James MORE Than 33 Points + Assists
It is Year 21, and LeBron James still plays like the best player on the planet. Obviously, he has lost a step, but LeBron is putting up insane numbers. He is averaging 26.4 points, 6.5 assists, and 8.2 rebounds per night, and he is shooting the three better than he has in over a decade, hitting 39.7% of his shots from beyond the arc on 5.6 attempts per night.
Over his last five games, LeBron is hitting 52% of his three-pointers and is averaging 29.6 points and 8.2 assists per game. Like most teams at this point, the Lakers enter this game banged up, and that includes LeBron. He is dealing with a calf injury, and although he is questionable for tonight, he was cleared to play over the weekend and put up a monster performance against Houston.
There is not much more to say about LeBron other than he is still an elite player and is playing at a really high level right now. While the Jazz are a tough team to beat on any night given how talented they are on offense, their defense is a turnstile.
Utah ranks towards the bottom in scoring, assists per game, shooting percentage, and both made and attempted three-pointers. With how well LeBron is playing right now, expect him to put up a significant scoring number tonight, especially if he keeps shooting three-pointers.
If he has a bad shooting night, we still have his assists to help us out, and he has been dishing the ball a lot lately. With how well he shoots the ball and his pass-first mindset, LeBron should easily go over this number.
NBA PrizePicks Odds
Before submitting your NBA PrizePicks for tonight, you have two options:
- Power Play: Get a 5x payout on your initial wager if all three picks hit.
- Flex Play: Gives you protection on your PrizePicks.
The power play option makes your PrizePicks just a simple prop parlay. Our two NBA PrizePicks give us a 3x payout if both bets win. For example, a $100 wager would return $300 in winnings if both our PrizePicks are winners.
For Flex Play, it gives you insurance on your PrizePicks but reduces your payout. If you choose Flex play, and all your picks win, you will get a 2x payout, but if only one pick hits, you will get a 0.5x payout.
However, if you add more picks, your payout will increase. For example, a four-pick slip gives you a 10x payout with the power play option, while flex play gives you a 1.5x payout for three out of four picks and a 5x payout for all four picks hitting.
