There’s a lot of optimism swirling around the 2023 New York Jets. After acquiring quarterback Aaron Rodgers in a blockbuster trade this offseason, the Jets are priming themselves for a Super Bowl run in a stacked AFC.

New York Jets’ future odds are now widely available at different sportsbooks. There is a wide range of NFL future bets currently being offered, including the Jets’ win total, to make the playoffs, division, and conference odds. Will Rodgers be able to take the Jets from mediocrity to contender?

New York Jets Odds to Win Super Bowl, Conference, and Division

One of the most popular ways to bet NFL futures is on Super Bowl, Conference, and Division winners. Jets fans are hoping future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers will bring the Jets to the playoffs for the first time in 12 seasons — the longest postseason drought in the league.

Rodgers joins a talented core of young players, including last year’s Offensive and Defensive Rookies of the Year in Garrett Wilson and Sauce Gardner. Will Rodgers, after contemplating retirement in Green Bay, elevate the Jets into postseason contention? New York hasn’t won the Super Bowl or a Conference title since Joe Namath “guaranteed” an upset win over the Baltimore Colts in 1967.

The Jets’ odds to win the Super Bowl range from +1800 to +2100.

New York has among the shortest odds in the field and is the fourth-ranked team in the AFC by futures odds. Only the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals, and Buffalo Bills have shorter odds to represent the AFC in Super Bowl 58 at Allegiant Stadium.

For the first time in decades, the Jets, Bills, and Dolphins all have better odds to win the AFC East than the New England Patriots. The division is among the closest in the league, headlined by Josh Allen and the heavyweight Buffalo Bills. The Miami Dolphins have one of the most stacked rosters in football although there’s concern when it comes to the health and durability of starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

New York trails only Buffalo in AFC East futures betting. The Jets are currently +270 at DraftKings Sportsbook to win the division.

Aaron Rodgers Player Props

Despite a 6-3 start to the season last year, the New York Jets faltered down the stretch to finish 7-10 and miss the postseason. Poor quarterback play was the biggest culprit and general manager Joe Douglas and head coach Robert Saleh made it a point to bring in a veteran presence behind center.

After months of rumors, podcasts, and a darkness retreat, the New York Jets traded for four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers in April. These are a couple of the Aaron Rodgers player props currently available for the 2023 season.

Aaron Rodgers Over 3,950.5 Passing Yards (-110, DraftKings)

DraftKings Sportsbook currently has Rodgers’ passing yards prop set at 3950.5 yards. In a down year for the future Hall of Famer, Rodgers fell 300 yards short of this total in 2022. Before last year, Rodgers hit this total in six of the last seven seasons in which he started at least 16 games.

Aaron Rodgers joins a Jets roster with several offensive weapons. Along with last year’s Offensive Rookie of the Year in Garrett Wilson, the Jets also brought in Rodgers’ previous teammates, receivers Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb, and former Chiefs speedster Mecole Hardman, to complement Wilson and veteran Corey Davis. Tyler Conklin and C.J. Uzomah return as the starting tight ends and second-year back Breece Hall is returning from an ACL injury.

Joe Namath was the first quarterback to ever throw for more than 4,000 yards in a season, completing the feat for New York in 1967. Although a 4,000-yard season has become more commonplace in the modern era — nine quarterbacks eclipsed that number last season — no Jet quarterback has done it since Namath.

Aaron Rodgers has a solid offensive cast and will most certainly have a hand in scheming and playcalling. The 39-year-old quarterback should hit his over in passing yards and give the Jets their first 4,000-yard passer since 1967.

Along with his passing yard total, most sportsbooks are also offering Aaron Rodgers prop bets on passing touchdowns, passing yards leader, MVP, and more.

2023 New York Jets Win Total

Along with betting on the Jets to win the Super Bowl, Conference, and Division, you can also bet over or under on the Jets’ season-long win total.

The New York Jets win total is currently 9.5 at most sportsbooks. Shop around for the best line, however, as the juice varies between different books.

Gang Green hit their 2022 win total — set at 5.5 — relatively early in the year despite their late-season collapse. With the influx of talent, namely at the quarterback position, the Jets are expected to be one of the most competitive teams in a stacked AFC.

New York went just 2-4 in the division last season. The Jets haven’t beaten New England since the 2016 season. For the Jets to reach expectations, they’ll have to perform better against their own division — especially against their archrival Patriots.

With Aaron Rodgers in town, the hype is understandably high for the Jets faithful. Think the new quarterback will carry the Jets forward? Then consider betting on any of the New York Jets futures bets currently available.
