NFL Week 4 features the one of the biggest football matches of the year, as the 2-1 Buffalo Bills take on the 2-1 Baltimore Ravens. This is a battle between AFC offensive juggernauts. The Bills are the betting favorite to win the Super Bowl, while the Ravens are back on track after a disappointing 2021 season plagued with injuries.

Let’s take a look at the betting odds, props, and predictions for NFL Week 4’s marquee matchup.

Bills vs. Ravens Betting Lines: Points Spread, Moneyline, Total

Buffalo opened -3 in Las Vegas last Sunday night, and while we’ve seen that number grow to as high as -4 on some oddsboards during early wagering, it settled back on the key number later in the week.  Ravens drew sharp money at +3.5 and +4.

The total opened at a whopping 55 points but has been adjusted down to 51 across the sports betting marketplace, with rain and wind in the forecast.

Here are current odds from legal US sportsbooks on this AFC showdown.

Buffalo Bills vs. Baltimore Ravens Betting News

The Bills opened their 2022 season as the Super Bowl betting favorite. A strong start saw back-to-back wins against the Rams and Titans before suffering an ugly loss to the Dolphins in Week 3.

The Bills enter this matchup against the Ravens with a string of injuries to their defense, as a number of key starters will sit this game out. It’s a terrible time to be labored on defense, as Baltimore boasts the best offensive production in the NFL so far this season.

The Ravens are looking to avenge their early 2021 playoff exit against the Bills. In a game where they couldn’t get anything going offensively, the Ravens managed only three points in a 17-3 season-ending defeat.

They didn’t fare much better last season, as the Ravens’ Super Bowl hopes were derailed early with injuries. Losing a number of key players during the pre-season proved costly, and they never fully recovered.

With a team that’s close to 100%, the Ravens have looked impressive in 2022, averaging a league-leading 33 points per game through three weeks.

Buffalo Bills vs. Baltimore Ravens Prediction

As of writing, betting tickets are split pretty evenly between the Bills (52%) and the Ravens (48%) — but the Ravens are getting more than 85% of the money.

Historically, coach John Harbaugh has thrived in this spot. As an underdog, Harbaugh and the Ravens are 48-33-3, an impressive 59% success rate. He’s also 4-0 against the spread as a home underdog over the past three seasons.

The big question mark in this game is the Bills defense. With so many key injuries, stopping Jackson and the Ravens is a tall task. The forecast in Baltimore calls for wind and rain, which is an advantage to the rush-heavy offense of the Ravens vs. the pass-heavy offense of the Bills.

We’re getting the faster, healthier team at home AND we’re getting points? Yes, please.

Buffalo Bills vs. Baltimore Ravens Props

There are a number of player props available for Bills vs. Ravens.

Lamar Jackson Under 32.5 Passing Attempts

The forecast suggests wind and rain during this marquee matchup. The Ravens will likely use their dangerous rushing attacks against the Bills defense. By controlling the clock, they’ll keep the football out of the wind and Buffalo’s biggest weapon, Josh Allen, off the field.

Look for Jackson to use the quarterback option to hand the ball to his running backs, or simply run downfield himself. Jackson is only averaging 29.6 passing attempts per game this season, so the Under 32 passing attempts shows some value.

Josh Allen Under 37.5 Passing Attempts

A prop so nice we’ll use it twice! Again, with wind and rain in the forecast, look for Allen and the Bills to keep the ball on the ground in this one. Allen averages 34 passing attempts per game for his career, so we’re getting a nice edge here too.
