RB Felix Jones, Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys running-back DeMarco Murray broke his ankle Sunday night and while most of us in Las Vegas are saddened by our hometown hero’s misfortune, others in their fantasy playoffs see it as an opportunity to capitalize by picking up Felix Jones to help boost their team’s chances.
Jones has been injury plagued himself over the year, but for the next two weeks, the hopes are that he can put up some quality numbers like he did Sunday against the Giants. Jones had 137 yards on 22 touches Sunday night and should be counted on the carry the load for the Cowboys, especially when considering they don’t have anyone else.
Greg Jennings also got hurt Sunday and with his status not clear yet, it would still be wise to pick up either James Jones or Randall Cobb who should each see more action in the Packers high powered offense. Jones would seem the top choice to come up big.
