This may be a week to take what they give you regarding a three-team NFL parlay.

Gamblers can’t be sure of what they’re getting in many games, as roughly 75% of them feature at least one backup quarterback.

There are also some games with prohibitive moneyline odds, like the Miami Dolphins -800 as a -13 chalk against the Tennessee Titans on Monday night.

Several parlays involving the heavy favorites lead to betting odds in the neighborhood of -150. Who needs that, along with the necessity to hit three games, just to cash it?

So here is a look at three selections at BetMGM that won’t pay much individually, but combine to make a bettable ticket.

Check out our NFL parlay picks for Week 14, and all three picks add up to +108 odds at one of the top sports betting apps.

NFL Parlay Picks for Week 14

  • Baltimore Ravens -2.5 vs Los Angeles Rams
  • San Francisco 49ers -2.5 vs Seattle Seahawks
  • Detroit Lions vs Chicago Bears, Over 32

A variation on a theme: If you are willing to take -102 at DraftKings, you can make the Ravens and Niners moneyline picks, along with the Detroit total. No spread.

Breaking Down the NFL Parlay Picks

Baltimore Ravens -2.5 (Adjusted From -7)

What’s not to like about this team?

The 9-3 Ravens are not only playing in dominant fashion but have now attained a tie for the No. 1 seed in the AFC with the Miami Dolphins.

Yes, the Dolphins hold the edge via conference record, but the teams play each other in Week 17.

Lamar Jackson, Gus Edwards, Odell Beckham Jr., and the emerging Zay Flowers create enough pop for Baltimore’s offense to go with a stifling defense.

The Rams have racked up big numbers in the last two weeks, punishing the Arizona Cardinals and depleted Cleveland Browns. They have improved to 6-6 and should fight for a playoff spot.

The Rams are 3-0 with Matthew Stafford back behind center and are playing their best ball of the season. But can they top a 9-3 opponent on the road?

This game seems to have a look at the Rams reaching their high-water mark for the season some time in this game and then coming up short.

This contest can be considered dangerous for Baltimore because the Rams have deep threats in Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp. What Ravens’ bettors want is Baltimore’s pass rush harassing Matthew Stafford enough that he throws at least one significant pick.

The Ravens give up the second-fewest yards in the NFL at 273 per game. They give up the fewest touchdowns with 16.

Signs point to them withstanding some shots and surviving.

Asking the Ravens to cover -7 might be a lot, but the adjusted line of -2.5 is doable.

San Francisco 49ers -2.5 (Adjusted From -10)

It is possible to foresee a letdown after the Niners throttled the Philadelphia Eagles 42-19 in a battle of the NFC’s top two teams last week.

But one week earlier, the Niners toyed with the Seahawks in winning 31-13 on the road.

San Francisco may be less prone to the highs and lows of some explosive offenses because they are a methodical machine. They don’t live off big plays, just consistent chunks.

Opponents must take away Christian McCaffrey out of the backfield, Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk as receivers, and Brock Purdy as a poised quarterback who enjoys good protection.

Furthermore, the game is in San Francisco. Edge: Niners.

The Seahawks have their share of playmakers but would need substantial improvement against the Niners’ offense in order to be a threat.

The perception is that Seattle will be game, but outgunned.

Detroit Lions vs Chicago Bears, Over 32

Just found the lowest number available on this game. The concept is that if you can hit the spread picks, what’s the difference between +108 and say, +127 if you push the points in this game higher?

The teams combined for 57 points in Detroit’s 31-26 triumph a couple of weeks back.

As long as Justin Fields is in the Bears lineup, this team is going to score some points. And that should be enough to help push this total over the top.

How low is 32 points? Even 17-16 for either team gets it done.

Detroit has the explosive weapons of quarterback Jared Goff, running backs David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs, along with receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown.

It’s true that Chicago has been in some low-scoring stinkers, like the 12-10 verdict over the Minnesota Vikings last week, but this is a low-point total. Sunday’s weather in Chicago calls for a high of 39 degrees.

Other Parlay Considerations

If you like mixing and matching, several other totals legs offer similar odds to this if you can manage to hit the Ravens and Niners.

Teasing Buffalo up to +8.5 from +2.5 and adding it as a fourth leg will drive many props like this into the +150 range.

Bettors can also keep this as three picks and adjust the lines less to increase the payout. Think the Niners and Ravens can each win by more than 4.5 points? If that happens, this wager becomes +167.

Aside from this wager, a dependable weekly option has been Younghoe Koo of the Atlanta Falcons. They score few touchdowns and rely on his kicking indoors. Taking him Over 6.5 or even 7.5 points when those odds go up might be a good parlay anchor.

Koo, Justin Tucker of the Ravens, and Blake Grupe of the New Orleans Saints are excellent prop considerations. Look for them later in the week when lines go up.

I will play them separately if these are the totals and will look to link them in a three-teamer if the price is right.

A Note About Parlay Strategy

One can use a bet like this as a destination or introduction to a larger ticket.

Sportsbooks have reported several six-figure payouts in recent years for multi-legged parlay tickets that are heavily marked with moneyline wagers and some adjusted lines or totals.

Parlays have been good to many bettors, even though they are challenging to hit. If you can hit at least a two-team parlay with reasonable odds, there will usually be a profit.

Some bettors may find a base of three picks they like, use them as a constant in several tickets, and change the betting side on the picks they are unsure about.

Either way, good luck bringing home some cash.
