NFL Player Props & TD Scorer Picks for Week 5

Zach Wilson Over 220.5 Passing Yards (-115, DraftKings)

Wilson struggled in the early going of his first start of 2022 but rebounded down the stretch. The Jets feature a number of quality offensive weapons, including at running back and tight end, so Wilson should be able to rack up the yardage necessary for an Over.

Kirk Cousins Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-133, Caesars)

The Vikings are playing good ball as they enter a winnable Week 5 home matchup with the Bears (75% implied win probability). Cousins tossed two touchdown passes in each of his first two starts at US Bank Stadium, and we’re banking on a repeat this Sunday.

Breece Hall Over 64.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards (-115, BetMGM)

Hall continues to separate himself from Michael Carter in the Jets’ backfield hierarchy. He compiled 66 rushing yards alone in last week’s win over the Steelers, plus he’s a dual threat with 27 targets through four games. Hall’s playmaking ability combined with increased volume makes betting the Over an easy decision for us.

Ja’Marr Chase TD (+124, Caesars) | Over 70.5 Receiving Yards (-119, Caesars)

Chase is arguably the game’s premier touchdown threat at wide receiver. He’ll score on a quick slant, deep strike, or in goal-to-go situations. Chase torched the Ravens for 15-326-1 on 20 targets in two games in 2021, and Baltimore is struggling in the secondary so far this season. If the Bengals give Joe Burrow time — he was only hit three times by the Dolphins in Week 4 — Chase can hang another monster performance on the Ravens.

George Kittle Over 39.5 Receiving Yards (-117, Caesars)

Kittle only has nine targets on the season, but he played in 91 and 94% of the team’s snaps in two games since returning from a groin injury. It’s only a matter of time before Kyle Shanahan gets him more involved in the action that we care about. The Panthers will not have standout safety Jeremy Chinn, which boosts the outlook of the 49ers’ offense overall.

Dallas Goedert TD (+175, Caesars) | Over 44.5 Receiving Yards (-115, DraftKings)

Goedert doesn’t have gaudy touchdown numbers, but he demonstrates the traits that make him a threat to get into the paint. He possesses the yards-after-catch ability to turn a short reception into a big gainer, and he’s capable of challenging defenses with deeper targets. A.J. Brown will continue to dominate targets, but Goedert makes the most of his looks (15 YPC), so he doesn’t need a ton of volume to hit the Over on receiving yardage.
