We head into Week 2 of the NFL preseason and after taking in some of the games I can say they were very entertaining. We will delve into some games this week and try and get a few winners. No lines were available when GamingToday went to press.

Thursday, Aug. 20

Lions at Redskins: Detroit looked very good in their 23-3 home win over the New York Jets and the Skins got the W at Cleveland. We like the Skins again in this their first home game as they have gone 6-0 SU and ATS in their last six preseason home openers. REDSKINS.

Bills at Browns: We can go down to the book, make our bet, come home and take this one in on ESPN. Buffalo cost me some bucks last Friday when losing to the Panthers, 25-24. Look for them to score high again at Cleveland, which fell at home to the Skins last Thursday 20-17. The Browns have gone Over in four of their last five preseason Game 2’s. BILLS/OVER.

Friday, Aug. 21

Falcons at Jets: All factors point to Atlanta, a nice winner last week beating the Titans 31-24. The Jets could only come up with a field goal vs. the Lions. In Friday preseason games, the Falcons have gone 9-1 ATS in the last 10, while the low flying Jets are 1-10 in their last 11. FALCONS.

Seahawks at Chiefs: KC got us last week when putting it to the Cards. We will come right back and bet against them again as this trend looks just too good to pass up. Chiefs have gone 0-12 ATS in their last 12 preseason Game 2’s. Seahawks come in off a loss and head coach Pete Carroll has not dropped back to back games in preseason since 2011. SEAHAWKS.

Saturday, Aug. 22

Ravens at Eagles: Both teams coming off wins last week but the Ravens get some extra days off after beating the Saints last Thursday while the Eagles crushed the Colts on Sunday. We do know one thing, it will be a good one. John Harbaugh is a must take as a preseason dog as he has gone 9-4 ATS, winning 8 of those games straight up. We will not be napping as the Eagles come gently rapping… Take the points with the visiting Blackbirds. RAVENS

Patriots at Saints: The Pats got me last week but we will be all over the Saints as they have gone 8-1 in their last nine preseason games vs. the AFC and a nice 6-1 SU and ATS in their last seven preseason Saturday contests. The Pats have managed just one cover in their last seven vs. the NFC in preseason. Look for the Saints to come marching in New Orleans. SAINTS.

Broncos at Texans: Denver got us the money last Friday and we will come right back with them this week as they have gone 5-1 SU and ATS in their last six Week 2 preseason road games. The Texans have played high in Week 2, going 6-2-1 Over the total. BRONCOS/OVER.

Chargers at Cardinals: This is a very good “get out” game as the Chargers look to be a great play. The Cards have gone 0-6 vs. San Diego in the last six preseason matchups, while the Chargers have gone 7-2 in Week 2 preseason road games. CHARGERS.

Sunday, Aug. 23

Packers at Steelers: After watching the Steelers’ first two games, I will need to take my shot with the Packers, who looked very good winning at New England last Thursday. Green Bay will pin the third straight loss on Pittsburgh. PACKERS.

Monday, Aug. 24

Bengals at Buccaneers: Cincy looked good beating the Giants last Friday while the Bucs looked like Tampa Bay after losing to the Vikings 26-16 on Saturday. In preseason Game 2’s, the Bengals have gone Over the total in five straight while the Bucs have gone 0-4 in their last four. BENGALS/OVER.

Have a great week, get out and play some of those parlay cards. Make a point at stopping at a Caesars sportsbook as they have parlay cards with all Week 1 NFL games and college games. They can be played at the LINQ (see Johnny Spot), Bally’s, Paris, Harrah’s, Rio, Flamingo, The Cromwell and Planet Hollywood. Also offered are teasers and superteasers.

Get out, you just may be walking around lucky and don’t even know it.
