The final week of the NFL preseason is here, and bettors can now place wagers on the NFL Preseason Week 3 odds.

Thursday, Aug. 24
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Atlanta Falcons (7:30 p.m. ET, NFL Network)
- Spread: Steelers -3.5
- Total: O/U 38.5
- Moneyline: Steelers (-175) | Falcons (+150)
The Steelers are 2-0 this preseason, and they have a ton of momentum after last week’s game against the Bills. The majority of starters played for both teams, and Pittsburgh jumped out to a 21-0 halftime lead. Meanwhile, the Falcons tied with the Bengals last week, but the performances from Bijan Robinson and Drake London were very promising for the Falcons in 2023.
We can expect most of the starters to play for both teams in this game, which is why Pittsburgh is listed as a road favorite.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Philadelphia Eagles (8 p.m. ET, Amazon Prime Video)
- Spread: Colts -3.5
- Total: O/U 38.5
- Moneyline: Colts (-175) | Falcons (+150)
The Eagles tied with the Browns last week, but they enjoyed excellent performances from their loaded running back room and quarterback Tanner McKee. In the second half, McKee passed for 147 yards, and a touchdown to help Philadelphia avoid a preseason loss.
However, the main storyline outside any starters who may suit up is Colts’ running back, Jonathan Taylor. After requesting a trade this summer, Taylor is expected to join the team in Philadelphia for the final preseason game.
Friday, Aug. 25
Detroit Lions vs. Carolina Panthers (8 p.m. ET, CBS)
- Spread: Panthers -3
- Total: O/U 36.5
- Moneyline: Lions (+135) | Panthers (-160)
No. 1 overall pick Bryce Young has officially been named the Panthers’ Week 1 starter. While we have not seen much from him this preseason, it is clear that he is the best quarterback on the roster.
Meanwhile, the Lions were ineffective on offense last week against the Jaguars, but none of the regular starters played. However, this is a loaded team on both sides of the ball, and we should get our first look at this first-team offense in this game.
New England Patriots vs. Tennessee Titans (8:15 p.m. ET, NFL Network)
- Spread: Patriots -2.5
- Total: O/U 38.5
- Moneyline: Patriots (-135) | Titans (+115)
The Patriots and Packers canceled the rest of their preseason game last week after New England rookie Isaiah Bolden was carted off the field. As a result, the Patriots have also canceled their joint practices with the Titans this week but will still play their final preseason game.
Because of this, we should not expect either side’s starters, especially the Patriots, to play that long.
Los Angeles Chargers vs. San Francisco 49ers (10 p.m. ET, NFL Network)
- Spread: 49ers -3.5
- Total: O/U 36.5
- Moneyline: Chargers (+155) | 49ers (-180)
49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan has announced that all starters will suit up for this game, including Brock Purdy, who will enter the season as San Francisco’s starting quarterback. Last week was Purdy’s first action since his injury in last season’s NFC Championship game, and while he did not play much, he looked like his typical self.
On the other side, the Chargers have not played their starters much this preseason, but look for that to change this week for the final dress rehearsal before the regular season kicks off.
Saturday, Aug. 26
Cleveland Browns vs. Kansas City Chiefs (1 p.m. ET, NFL Network)
- Spread: Browns -1.5
- Total: O/U 38.5
- Moneyline: Browns (-120) | Chiefs (+100)
In what could be a battle of two of the top teams in the AFC, both starting units are expected to play. For the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the ones played a few drives last week, and they looked as good as ever. Cleveland starters on offense have only played one drive this preseason, but they should see at least a quarter in the final preseason game.
Buffalo Bills vs. Chicago Bears (1 p.m. ET)
- Spread: Bills -1.5
- Total: O/U 37.5
- Moneyline: Bills (-125) | Bears (+105)
There is no need for panic from Buffalo, but the starters were crushed last week by the Steelers. There is no word on whether the Bills’ starters will play in this game, but Chicago has already announced that a few key starters, including Justin Fields, will sit out this game.
If Buffalo allows Josh Allen and the ones to play a little in this game, betting on Buffalo to cover as a slight road favorite may be worth it at the current number.
Arizona Cardinals vs. Minnesota Vikings (1 p.m. ET)
- Spread: Cardinals -1.5
- Total: O/U 34.5
- Moneyline: Cardinals (-130) | Vikings (+110)
The Minnesota Vikings are 0-2 this preseason, extending their preseason losing streak nine-straight games. Obviously, that does not matter much for the Vikings this season, as the starters have not played at all this preseason. There is no word as of now if they will see any playing time this week, either.
Seattle Seahawks vs. Green Bay Packers (1 p.m. ET)
- Spread: Seahawks -1.5
- Total: O/U 41.5
- Moneyline: Seahawks (-130) | Packers (+110)
The Packers have announced that Jordan Love will start Green Bay’s preseason finale. He has not played much but has looked sharp in his limited snaps, with two touchdowns and zero interceptions. For Seattle, head coach Pete Carroll will let Drew Lock get most of the reps in this game, effectively ending Geno Smith‘s preseason, which has lasted only two drives.

New York Jets vs. New York Giants (6 p.m. ET, NFL Network)
- Spread: Jets -4.5
- Total: O/U 38.5
- Moneyline: Jets (-200) | Giants (+170)
The battle of New York will be the game of the night as Aaron Rodgers will make his Jets debut. There is no word on how long he will play, but this will be the first time outside of Hard Knocks that we will see Rodgers with his incredibly talented offense.
Last week, the Giants’ starters looked very good against the Panthers, and while some starting jobs are still up for grabs, we should not expect to see guys like Daniel Jones or Saquon Barkley much, if at all, in this game.
Cincinnati Bengals vs. Washington Commanders (6:05 p.m. ET)
- Spread: Commanders -4.5
- Total: O/U 37
- Moneyline: Bengals (+175) | Commanders (-210)
Washington head coach Ron Rivera had named Sam Howell as the team’s No. 1 quarterback. He has managed the offense well this preseason and will get one more shot against the Bengals before the games start to count.
Meanwhile, Cincinnati has been without Joe Burrow all preseason, and he could also miss the first few games of the season. Because of this, do not expect to see much from the Bengals in terms of starters this week as they prepare for an AFC North matchup against the Browns in Week 1.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7 p.m. ET)
- Spread: Ravens -1.5
- Total: O/U 36.5
- Moneyline: Ravens (-130) | Bucs (+110)
Neither Baker Mayfield nor Kyle Trask has been announced as the starting quarterback for the Buccaneers yet. This means that we should expect to see a lot of reps from both guys as they have their final audition for the starting role.
Baltimore has not played its starters this preseason, but they have a deep roster, especially at quarterback. With veterans Tyler Huntley and Josh Johnson, there is a reason the Ravens continue to dominate the preseason.
Miami Dolphins vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (7 p.m. ET)
- Spread: Jags -4
- Total: O/U 39.5
- Moneyline: Dolphins (+170) | Jags (-200)
Although the Jaguars suffered a few injuries last week, the starters are prepared to play the entire first half of their preseason finale. The Dolphins are also dealing with some injuries, but with the Jaguars giving four points in this matchup, we can assume that the starters will not play much this week.
Las Vegas Raiders vs. Dallas Cowboys (8 p.m. ET)
- Spread: Raiders -6
- Total: O/U 39.5
- Moneyline: Raiders (-240) | Cowboys (+200)
Even though we have not seen much from Las Vegas this preseason, they have had arguably the best-performing rookie quarterback in Aidan O’Connell. Through two weeks, he has 304 passing yards on 26-of-36 passes with three touchdowns to zero interceptions.
Los Angeles Rams vs. Denver Broncos (9 p.m. ET, NFL Network)
- Spread: Broncos -3.5
- Total: O/U 35.5
- Moneyline: Rams (+160) | Broncos (-190)
Speaking of rookie quarterbacks, Stetson Bennett has looked solid for the Rams this preseason. He led the offense on a few scoring drives, and outside of a bad pick-six last week, he looks like he could be the Rams’ starter at some point this season.
Sunday, Aug. 27
Houston Texans vs. New Orleans Saints (8 p.m. ET, FOX)
- Spread: Saints -2.5
- Total: O/U 38
- Moneyline: Texans (+125) | Saints (-145)
The final preseason game of the season features one of the most exciting young players in the NFL. Texans’ rookie quarterback CJ Stroud. He was projected to play a lot in this game, but the Texans and Saints have agreed to cancel joint practices this week due to injury concerns.
