There are some prime candidates to include in our NFL Week 6 teaser pick, and we’re honing in on one home favorite and one home dog for the second straight week.

The Kansas City Chiefs host the Buffalo Bills in this week’s marquee matchup. The Chiefs are in an unusual spot as a 2.5-point home underdog against the Bills, who remain the betting favorite (+350) to win Super Bowl 57 at DraftKings.

Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers host the New York Jets in a less-heralded matchup that sees the home team laying 7.5 points.

The Chiefs and Packers are two of the NFL’s most tradition-rich teams, and they combine to form a nice Wong Teaser pick in Week 6.

Wong Teasers are one way for a bettor to gain an edge on a bookmaker. Be sure to shop around at different sportsbooks that offer -120 odds on a two-team, 6-point teaser. In our examples, we’ll be betting $120 to win $100 on a Wong Teaser.

Chiefs (+8.5) + Packers (-1.5) is Top Teaser Pick in Week 6

Kansas City Chiefs (+8.5) over Buffalo Bills

It’s not without some concern that we’re rolling with the Chiefs again this week. KC failed to cover the adjusted -1.5 teaser spread in its 30-29 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday night. The defense looked porous against the Derek Carr-led Raiders. Imagine what Josh Allen and the Bills might be able to accomplish on offense.

Buffalo rolled over Kansas City, 38-20, at Arrowhead Stadium in the regular season last year. All that said, there’s one stat that jumped off the page this week. Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes is 7-0-1 ATS as an underdog in his career.

Mahomes threw for five TDs against the Raiders. Buffalo’s defense is much stingier, but we expect Mahomes to be at his best in this potential preview of the AFC Championship Game. Give us the Chiefs +8.5 at home, and let the chips fall where they may.

Green Bay Packers (-1.5) over New York Jets

Expect Green Bay to bounce off its substandard effort against the Giants in London.

The Jets are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games. But we’re not laying -7.5 here. Teasing this number down through “7” and “3” means we essentially just need the Packers to win the game by a field goal.

The Packers need to better utilize RBs Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon, as QB Aaron Rodgers continues to build cohesion with his wide receivers. Rodgers suffered a minor thumb injury in the loss against the Giants but expects to be “fine” for Sunday’s tilt against the Jets.

Green Bay is 16-3 SU in its last 19 games at Lambeau Field. ESPN’s Football Power Index gives Green Bay an 83.1% chance to win.

Week 5 Wong Teaser Result: Loss

Browns (+8.5) over Chargers AND Chiefs (-1.5) over Raiders

Cleveland easily covered the adjusted teaser spread and had a chance to win the game outright. We were snake-bit again by Kansas City, which won by a only single point against the Raiders.

2022 Wong Teaser Record: 1-4

Season Bottom Line: -$380
