The Cowboys and Chiefs are both coming off blowout victories last weekend. Dallas defeated Atlanta 43-3, and K.C. throttled Las Vegas, 41-14. So, it comes as no surprise that the total for the Cowboys-Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday is the largest of Week 11. The consensus number across the sports betting industry Thursday morning was 56.

That total might seem daunting to OVER bettors, but the Cowboys have gone OVER that number five times this season, and the Chiefs have gone OVER it on four occasions. Still, Dallas is just 5-4 to the OVER this season, and the bet has cashed in only half of the Chiefs’ 10 games.

Also for Week 11 totals bettors to consider, starting quarterbacks will be at somewhat of a premium, and that could affect point production in several games across the league.

Thursday: Patriots at Falcons (O/U 47)

The Falcons will be without WR Calvin Ridley (mental health) again, and Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) is also banged up. Atlanta mustered only three points at Dallas last week. But the Patriots have gone OVER in five of their last six games.

Lions at Browns (O/U 43.5)

Jared Goff missed practice Wednesday with an oblique injury, and there’s a good chance somebody named Tim Boyle will start at QB for the Lions. Detroit has gone UNDER in six of its last seven games. Meanwhile, Browns QB Baker Mayfield plans to play through multiple injuries.

49ers at Jags (O/U 45.5)

Jacksonville has been making it rain for UNDER players this season. The Jags have stayed below the total in seven of their last eight games. The SuperBook opened this number at 46.5 on Sunday, but it’s down to 45 at several books, including PointsBet.

Colts at Bills (O/U 50)

The Colts are 3-1 to the OVER on the road. But there’s a 70% chance of precipitation and winds predicted at 14 mph Sunday in Buffalo.

Dolphins at Jets (O/U 44.5)

Dig this: The Jets are starting Joe Flacco at QB this week. That doesn’t engender much confidence in N.Y. piling up points, but remember what Mike White did in his first start for the Jets?

Washington Football Team at Panthers (O/U 43)

Caesars is among the majority of books offering this total at 43. Cam Newton is scheduled to start at QB for the Panthers as they welcome former coach Ron Rivera back to Charlotte. This total appears a tad low, but Carolina has gone OVER the total in only one home game this year.

Ravens at Bears (O/U 45)

The UNDER has hit in three of Baltimore’s last four road games, including last Thursday’s 22-10 loss in Miami.

Saints at Eagles (O/U 43.5)

Perhaps it’s due to comparatively low totals, but the Saints have been on an OVER tear of late. New Orleans has gone OVER in five of its last six games. DraftKings has a more attractive 43 for OVER bettors.

Texans at Titans (O/U 44.5)

Ryan Tannehill and the Titans can put up points, but can the Texans be counted on to do the same? Houston has gone UNDER the total in its last four games on the road.

Packers at Vikings (O/U 49)

Aaron Rodgers showed some rust in his first start back from Covid-19. The guess here is both he and the Packers return to form in a higher-scoring affair with the Vikings. Minnesota is 4-0 to the UNDER this year at home, but we’re fading that trend in this one.

Bengals at Raiders (O/U 50)

The Raiders are 4-1 to the OVER at home this year, including last week’s game against K.C. The Chiefs were largely responsible for that in their 41-14 win.

Cardinals at Seahawks (O/U 48)

Kyler Murray appears to be a go for Sunday, and the Cardinals look to bounce back after a brutal loss to Carolina. Amazing stat of the week: Seattle has gone OVER in just one game this season.

Steelers at Chargers (O/U 47)

Big Ben is a big question mark heading into this contest with the Chargers. As of Wednesday, he hadn’t been cleared to return from Covid-19 protocol. Mason Rudolph will be the starting QB again if Roethlisberger is out for a second straight week.

Monday: Giants at Bucs (O/U 49.5)

The Bucs have performed much better on home soil this season. They are 3-1 to the OVER at Raymond James Stadium, and all four of those games ended with a victory. FanDuel is among several sportsbooks with the total at 49.5.
