With 10 winners in Week 12, Craig Steppach from Gold Strike Casino Resort sportsbook in Mississippi has taken a two-game lead in Bookies Battle 2022 and owns a share of the lead in the third-quarter mini-contest.

There is one week to go in the mini-contest (NFL Weeks 10 through 13), and Steppach is tied with Michael Smoller (Wildfire Boulder Casino) with 28-14-2 records over the last three weeks. The third-quarter winner cashes a $500 check and earns a spot in the playoff portion of this contest, where there’s another $2,000 in the pot.

Edwin Ruvalcaba (The Orleans) and Socrates Cherry III (Aliante Casino) are each a game back of the third-quarter leaders with 27 winners, followed by four contestants with 26. There are too many to mention in striking distance.

In the season-long standings, Kyle Wainscott (Rivers Casino Des Plaines) – the winner of the second-quarter mini-contest – is in second place, with 101 correct picks through 12 weeks. Jason Scott (BetMGM) and Robert Kowalski (Baldini’s) are tied for third with 99.
