Welcome to Week 6 of Gaming Today’s 2023 Bookies Battle. We’ll take a look at all the picks across the board, including top consensus picks below. Finally, we’ll announce the winner of the first quarter of the 2023 NFL season.

57% of our bookies start the week off correctly, but just in the nick of time. Kansas City kicked a field goal late and sealed an 11-point win over Denver with an interception. It was a low-scoring 19-8 victory over the Broncos, but the Chiefs -10.5 counts.

The second quarter begins this week and goes through Week 9. A reminder that $500 will be given to the winner of this quarter.

Top Consensus Picks for NFL Week 6

  1. San Francisco 49ers – 80% of picks | Contest Spread: SF -5 at CLE
  2. Las Vegas Raiders – 73% of picks | Contest Spread: LV -3 vs NE
  3. Miami Dolphins – 73% of picks | Contest Spread: MIA -13.5 vs CAR
  4. Cincinnati Bengals – 73% of picks | Contest Spread: CIN -2.5 vs MIN

Most of our bookies are backing the 49ers on the road, believing they’ll be moving to 6-0 on the road at Cleveland. They’re laying the five points with the victory. The Browns have only given up 60 points in four games this season and have a week of rest heading into the matchup. But is there any defense that can slow down San Francisco, who’s scored at least 30 points in all five games this season?

Miami is a two-touchdown favorite against winless Carolina. That’s not stopping our bookies from laying all those points. The Dolphins are getting 73% of the picks, which is not a surprise with how electric they are offensively. If the Panthers can’t move the ball, the defense won’t keep up.

New England’s dominance is long gone with back-to-back blowouts, the worst in the Bill Belichick era. It might be a little surprising to only see them as field-goal underdogs on the road in Las Vegas. The Raiders are coming off a big win over the Packers last Monday night.

Duane Colucci solidified his victory with a 10-4 record in Week 5. They were in a 6-way tie for second place. The winner of Week 5 was Arthur DiCesare (Westgate) with an 11-3 record. Their only losses were taking the Patriots, Titans, and Vikings, which were all consensus picks.
