Our Week 7 NFL player props and anytime TD scorer bets offer optimism for a couple of players and teams under the microscope. Tom Brady makes our list again after he fell under scrutiny following the Bucs’ loss to Pittsburgh. We’re also betting on the Packers bouncing back, but perhaps not on the shoulders of the player you may imagine.

The top sportsbook apps provide a deep menu of betting options. These span everything from the bread & butter — moneylines, spreads, totals — to a variety of game and player props. Some books even offer cross-sport props, so be sure to sift through the available wagers before betting.

Player Props & Anytime TD Scorer Bets for NFL Week 7

Tom Brady Over 268.5 Passing Yards (-115, DraftKings)

Take a moment to offer your sympathy to the Carolina Panthers, who have to face Brady after a loss and a week of pundits and former players questioning his commitment to the game. The Bucs are still atop the NFC South, and even if Brady is distracted, he’s far from checked out. It’s unfortunate for the Panthers, but they’re set to serve as a “get right game” for yet another opponent.

A play on the Bucs-Panthers total: NFL Week 7 picks and predictions

Travis Etienne TD (+113, Caesars) | Over 46.5 Rushing Yards (-120, BetMGM)

Etienne has been relatively quiet as he’s yet to score a touchdown or deliver an eye-popping breakout performance. It’s coming though. Etienne continues to carve out a larger role week by week, and it’s only a matter of time before he reintroduces himself to the entire league. He’s averaging 5.6 yards per attempt, and received double-digit carries in three of his last four.

Saquon Barkley Over 76.5 Rushing Yards (-115, DraftKings)

The Jaguars have defended well — both the run and overall — from an efficiency standpoint (specifically DVOA). Barkley, however, can win with volume (18-plus carries in four of six games) or explosiveness (5.2 YPC). Bettors may have to endure some stuffs early in the game, but Barkley only needs a slight crease to hit the Over in one bite.

Aaron Jones Over 54.5 Rushing Yards (-110, BetMGM)

Green Bay’s run-to-pass splits have been heavily weighted toward the pass over the last two weeks. That makes sense when Aaron Rodgers is your quarterback, but the Packers lost both contests as heavy favorites.

With Rodgers struggling to connect with his receivers and publicly clamoring for a “simpler offense”, it’s reasonable to anticipate them leaning more heavily on the run against a defense surrendering 4.7 yards per tote.

Ja’Marr Chase TD | Over

Chase received at least 10 targets in three of the last four and broke out of a mini-slump with a 7-132-2 explosion in Week 6. The most promising element of the Bengals’ Week 7 matchup is the Falcons pressure the quarterback at the lowest rate in the league and have recorded the second-fewest sacks. All Joe Burrow needs is time to connect with his favorite target.
