NHL PrizePicks for Tuesday, Nov. 14

Below, we have included the NHL odds from some of our top-rated sports betting apps for each game we have a pick on tonight.

David Pastrnak MORE Than 0.5 Goals

Believe it or not, the Boston Bruins are absolutely dominating once again, and David Pastrnak is a big reason why. Coming off a career year last season, Pastrnak has 10 goals and 21 points in just 14 games, and the Bruins have one of the most loaded offenses in the NHL, which puts Pastrnak in an excellent position to score.

He has two goals in his last four games and seven points in that same period. Pastrnak is also shooting a higher percentage and his 4.7 shots per game rank second in the league. While there is a lot of offensive talent on this team, Pastrnak has the most time on ice for Boston, and he ranks toward the top of the league in percentage of shifts beginning in the offensive zone.

Trying to score when there is a ton of scoring talent can be tricky, but the Bruins have a matchup against a Buffalo team that has struggled. Although the Sabers have a talented roster, they have given up 47 goals, and they are due for some slight regression, as they rank 21st in expected goals against.

Buffalo also gives up a lot of unblocked shot attempts, which Pastrnak has been automatic since entering the league. In the past, the Bruins vs. Sabers scores always flew past the total. This tells us there will be plenty of scoring opportunities, and we trust Pastrnak more than anyone else on the ice.

Filip Forsberg MORE Than 4 Shots on Goal

Filip Forsberg is off to a slow start this season, but he is still putting shots on net. While his shooting percentage is down, his TOI is up to 19:12, which is the most of his career, and he has six goals and 17 points in 14 games.

Despite his slow start, Forsberg has two goals in each of his last two games, and as always, he is taking a ton of shots. Over his last five games, Forsberg has gone over this number three times, and in those games, he is averaging 5.3 shots per game.

He also loves playing on his home ice, as he has 28 shots in just six games, which is the same amount of attempts as he has on the road, where he has played in more games and with more shifts. In his six home games, he has taken more than four shots five times, and tonight, he has a favorable opponent to once again go over this number.

With the Anaheim Ducks coming into town, Forsberg and the Predators can have a huge offensive night. While the Ducks are an improved team, they still struggle defensively. They rank toward the bottom in shots against per game and are tied with Montreal for the most penalties this season.

Evgeni Malkin MORE Than 0.5 Assists

Over his last five games, Evgeni Malkin has seven points, including four goals. He has also been very good this month, with already five points in just four games. He is not the only Pittsburgh Penguin playing well, as they are on a four-game winning streak and scoring five goals per night during the streak.

While a lot of credit goes to the entire team, Malkin leads the team in points (16) and goals scored (8), and he is playing just under 19 minutes per game, and his eight assists rank third on the team, tied with Sidney Crosby and behind Jake Guentzel and Erik Karlsson.

The Penguins have been playing great hockey and have an easier opponent tonight, the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Jackets have lost five straight games, and for the season, they have allowed a lot of shots and goals per game.

Pittsburgh is scoring 3.5 goals per game, and the Blue Jackets have not been able to stop much of anything recently. With how well the Penguins are playing, they should be in a good position to put another significant number on the scoreboard. If that happens, Malkin will be in the middle of the offensive production, which sets him up nicely to pick up an assist.

NHL PrizePicks Odds

Before submitting your NHL PrizePicks for tonight, you have two options:

  1. Power Play: Get a 5x payout on your initial wager if all three picks hit.
  2. Flex Play: Gives you protection on your PrizePicks.

The power play option makes your PrizePicks just a simple prop parlay. All your picks need to hit in order to win. If you have a winning ticket, you will get 5x your wager in return. For example, if you bet $100 and all three PrizePicks win, you will win $500.

For Flex Play, it gives you insurance on your PrizePicks but significantly reduces your payout. With Flex Play, if one of your PrizePicks does not hit, but the other two win, you will get a 1.25x payout. If you select Flex play, and all three picks win, you will get a 2.25x payout.

However, if you add more picks, your payout will increase. For example, a four-pick slip gives you a 10x payout with the power play option, while flex play gives you a 1.5x payout for three out of four picks and a 5x payout for all four picks hitting.
