With the win in Game 3, Phoenix has new life, and the oddsmakers have taken notice. The Suns are now as short as +220 to win this NBA Playoff series, and they enter Game 4 as a three-point favorite, according to the point spread DraftKings Sportsbook on Saturday.

Nuggets vs. Suns Series Price

After their first win of the series, the Suns’ odds of advancing have shortened. Still, the +270 at Caesars Sportsbook is an attractive number if you believe Phoenix will pull it off.

The series price changes after every game, so make sure you are comfortable with the current number before placing your Nuggets vs. Suns series price wager.

Here are the Nuggets vs. Suns odds of winning the series, as of Saturday.

Nuggets vs. Suns Betting Trends & Notes

Although Phoenix picked up the Game 3 win, the Nuggets made a massive second-half comeback, outscoring the Suns by 13 points in the third quarter to take the lead. However, the best scoring duo in the NBA — Devin Booker and Kevin Durant — proved too much, as they combined for 86 of Phoenix’s 121 points.

On the other side, Denver is getting the production it needs on offense, but the Nuggets’ lack of depth is clearly starting to show, and it would not surprise me if they tire out the rest of the series, especially having to deal with the Suns’ loaded lineup.

Two-time MVP Nikola Jokic continues to be the actual most valuable player in basketball, as he put up his third triple-double of the postseason Friday, which included 30 points, 17 assists, and 17 rebounds.

In addition to the Joker, Michael Porter Jr. hit five three-pointers, and although Jamal Murray put up a team-high 32 points, he did so on 29 shots.

With the road loss, Denver is now 20-24 SU on the road this season, and it is covering at the same clip. The Nuggets are also 10-12 SU when playing as an underdog this season, and although they have covered five of its last six against Phoenix, they are not winning consistently on the road, and giving this Phoenix team new life could be detrimental for the Nuggets.

Phoenix Suns Betting Trends

Nuggets vs. Suns Game 4 Prop Bets

Deandre Ayton To Record A Double-Double: Yes (+115, DraftKings)

Deandre Ayton has had a poor playoff performance to this point. He recorded only four points in 25 minutes in Game 3, and throughout the entire playoffs, he is putting up only 14 points and 10 rebounds per game on 54.8% shooting from the field.

While his playoff averages would obviously cash this bet, he has yet to record double-digit rebounds against the Nuggets and is averaging only 10.7 points on nine shots per game. No team will ever be scared of that production, but we see an opportunity to go heavy on Ayton’s props for Game 4.

With Durant and Booker basically defeating the Nuggets by themselves in Game 3, Denver needs to be tighter on those two, especially on the perimeter, as they allowed too many runs to be snapped with open threes by the duo.

That will leave Ayton with enough opportunities to score, and although he has struggled this series, Ayton is one of the top rebounders in the league, ranking eighth in rebounding rate.

Nuggets vs. Suns Prediction: Game 4 Goes Over the Total

It feels as though the Nuggets have lost all momentum with the Game 3 loss, but people are not talking enough about how Denver was winning that game late. If Booker and Durant have off shooting nights, which they certainly have had in the postseason, specifically this series, Denver can easily win a game in Phoenix.

The Suns are one of the best teams in the NBA at home, and the Nuggets have struggled at the Footprint Center, losing five of the last six in the arena. However, the Suns were one-dimensional in the Game 3 victory, and Denver, while not as deep a team as Phoenix, also has plenty of elite scoring options.

This game will go one of two ways: Phoenix will come out and shoot the lights out of the gym once again, or the Nuggets will do what they did in the first two games of the series and smother Phoenix on both ends of the court.

Phoenix has fared too well at home to have another clunker like they did in the first two games, but the Nuggets are way too talented on both ends of the court. This game should be another shootout, so let’s roll with the Over for Nuggets vs. Suns Game 4.
