Nuggets vs. Suns Betting Trends & Notes
It was yet another tough performance for the Suns on the road in this series. While they kept the game close for longer than they should have, Phoenix fell apart in the third quarter, getting outscored 39-25.
The Suns’ elite duo of Devin Booker and Kevin Durant put up high-scoring totals, but Durant could only muster 26 points on 24 shots. Booker, while efficient, did not offer much outside of his scoring. In the previous two games, both played in Phoenix, Booker averaged 10.5 assists and 2.5 steals + blocks. In the three games played in Denver this series, Booker only puts up six assists and one block + steals per game.
Although Chris Paul‘s status for Game 6 looks better than previously thought, which will give this team an extra spark, the rest of the team has been wildly inconsistent. Phoenix has been dominating at home this season, which should help for Game 6, but they are now in a position where they can’t worry about Game 7 adjustments in Denver. It is officially win-or-go-home time for the Suns.
Meanwhile, it was just another triple-double playoff performance from Nikola Jokic, and his supporting cast was really sharp. With Michael Porter Jr. and Jamal Murray putting up 19 points each and Bruce Brown picking up 25 bench points, there was nothing Phoenix could do, as they did not have enough bodies in the rotation to counter that level of production.

Nuggets vs. Suns Game 6 Prop Bets

Devin Booker Over 31.5 Points Scored (-115, DraftKings)
We already knew that Booker was one of the elite scorers in the league, but he has taken his game to another level during the playoffs. He is putting up 35.9 points per game on 60% shooting from the field and 51.7% from deep. Booker is also averaging two more assists per game than he did in the regular season, further increasing his value on the court.
However, we are focused just on his shooting numbers for this prop. For as long as Booker has been one of the game’s most feared players, the fact that this is only his third postseason is scary, especially considering that he is shooting just under 40% from three in his 42 career postseason games.
Booker has fared even better at home this postseason, as he is shooting 69.3% from the field at home, including 55% from beyond the arc. Booker is just one of those players that loves playing at home, which has been the theme of this series for both teams. The home team has been virtually unbeatable in this series, and there is no reason to believe that will change for Game 6.
If the Suns are going to force a Game 7, they will need Booker’s exceptional home cooking to get there, and he should do just that.

Nuggets vs. Suns Game 6 Prediction: Suns To Force Game 7 With Convincing Win
Phoenix has been great at home, not only during the playoffs but during the regular season as well. They currently have a 32-14 record at the Footprint Center and have won five-straight games in Phoenix against the Nuggets.
The home team has won and covered in each game this series, but Denver has kept things tighter when playing as the road team. In their two losses this series, the Nuggets lost by an average of six points per game, while in their victories, they’ve won by 14.6 points per game.
However, Denver has not been a good road team this season, as they are 20-25 SU and covering at the same clip. The Nuggets are also 10-13 SU when playing as the underdog, while the Suns are 42-16 SU as the favorite.
Of the remaining playoff teams, Phoenix is by far the highest-scoring team at home, averaging 123.8 points per game this postseason. The next closest team is the Los Angeles Lakers, who are scoring 116.8 points per game in Los Angeles.
With that being said, Phoenix is the play here, as this amount of offensive talent — which has proven to be more efficient at home — is too much to ignore.
