Odell Beckham Jr. kept insisting he was a receiver who could make a difference. His play with the Los Angeles Rams has more than proved his point. And now there are Odell Beckham Jr. Super Bowl props and touchdown scorer bets all over the betting market for gamblers to ponder.

Beckham Jr. bet on himself – now anyone can bet on him in Super Bowl 56. Beckham’s two-and-a-half-year stint with the Cleveland Browns never was what either side thought it would amount to. It concluded this past season with Beckham being released after the team failed to trade him.

And even that was a far-from-ordinary breakup, as Beckham’s father posted a video to social media. The video featured plays where Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield looked to other receivers instead of Beckham or just plain missed No. 13.

The Rams, meanwhile, were looking to replace DeSean Jackson, a wide receiver they released after being unable to trade him. Once Robert Woods was lost to a season-ending injury, Beckham’s importance to the team dramatically increased.

Beckham’s numbers in eight regular-season games weren’t spectacular, but he did have five touchdowns. In three playoff games, he’s had 19 receptions for 236 yards and a touchdown.

Here’s a look at a few of the prop bets sportsbooks are offering on Beckham.

Odell Beckham Jr. Super Bowl 56 Props

Odell Beckham Jr. to win Super Bowl 56 MVP +3500 (PointsBet)

While quarterbacks have been awarded the Super Bowl MVP 31 times, wide receiver is the next most prominent position for the honor, as seven WRs have won the award. Beckham is capable of winning it if things go just right. Breaking off a few epic runs after hauling in short passes would help impress voters he earned the award over Matthew Stafford. A spectacular catch or two wouldn’t hurt, either.

Odell Beckham Jr. to score game’s first touchdown & Rams win +1200 (DraftKings)

If the Cincinnati Bengals focus too heavily on Cooper Kupp, look for Stafford to throw it to Beckham or Van Jefferson when trying to eat up chunks of yards in a hurry. If Beckham can break the ice first, this is a winnable wager.

Odell Beckham Jr. under 39.5 receiving yards +315; over 99.5 yards +385 (BetRivers)

If you think OBJ is going to resemble the receiver he was this year with the Browns, taking him to have under 39.5 yards would yield a nice payout. If you think he’s going to have his best game yet with the Rams on the biggest stage, there’s an even bigger opportunity awaiting.

Odell Beckham Jr. under 5.5 catches -150 (Caesars)

Beckham had just four catches in the wild-card round of the playoffs but has had six and nine receptions over the last two games. In eight regular-season games, he topped five receptions only once.

Odell Beckham Jr. to score 2+ touchdowns +850 (FanDuel)

Beckham’s last two-touchdown game came on Oct. 4, 2020, in a 49-38 Browns win over the Dallas Cowboys. He was injured three weeks later, missing the rest of the 2020 season. For a player who relishes the spotlight, this would be quite the time to score at least two touchdowns.

Odell Beckham Jr. to score the Rams first touchdown +600 (BetMGM)

In an attempt to open things up for Kupp, Stafford might look for Beckham in the early going. Based on Beckham’s play the past two games, that could result in an early touchdown, and the first for the Rams.
