Ohio State vs Wisconsin Props
Some of the player props available for the top stars in this matchup — from OSU’s Kyle McCord and Marvin Harrison Jr. to Wisconsin QB Braedyn Locke — are listed below:
The Wisconsin Badgers lost their starting quarterback Tanner Mordecai after suffering a broken hand injury against Iowa and has been sidelined for the rest of the season. Locke, a freshman, stepped in and went 21-of-41, 240 passing yards, and two touchdowns in a 25-21 comeback victory at Illinois. Junior running back Braelon Allen had a season-high 145 rushing yards and is listed with an O/U rushing yards against Ohio State.
Ohio State is on a nine-game winning streak in meetings against Wisconsin. That run looks to hit double digits on Saturday with the Buckeyes featuring one of the current offensive stars in the country in wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. He has seen the endzone at least once in five of the last six games and is favored to get his seventh TD of the season.
Buckeyes QB Kyle McCord has yet to be intercepted since the opening game of the season, a run of six games, despite facing the likes of Notre Dame and Penn State. He has had four games with multiple touchdowns and could add a fifth to that tally this weekend.
Ohio State vs Wisconsin Analysis and Prediction
Two touchdowns is a big line to give unless you’ve got a lot of confidence in an offense to put up points and a defensive depth to conserve that gap. Ohio State has won by 20 or more points in all but two games this season, their toughest opponents in Notre Dame and Penn State.
Wisconsin has not lost by more than nine points this year and that loss was against Iowa, second to the Badgers in the Big Ten West standings. The Buckeyes are by far the toughest opponents they’ll have this season, and one they may face again in the Conference Championship game, but will the home environment power Wisconsin to a close encounter? It may be worth noting that the last two encounters in Madison between these two have gone to OT and the one before that, all the way back in 2010, was an upset as Wisconsin knocked down then-number one ranked OSU.
