The Kansas City Chiefs (3-1) host the visiting Las Vegas Raiders (1-3) on Monday Night Football to cap off another exciting week of football action.  There’s going to be a ton of points scored in this AFC West bout (51.5-52 Over/Under), which makes for a few great options for player props and anytime touchdown scorer bets.

We put an emphasis on Chiefs players in this divisional game in primetime.

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Kansas City Chiefs Odds

Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs – priced between -330 and -375 on the moneyline as of Monday morning – are favored by a touchdown or more on top betting apps against Derek Carr’s Raiders, who are offered between +260 and +300 for an outright victory.

Bettors bleeding Silver and Black can grab Las Vegas at as long as +300 at PointsBet. Those sticking with the favorite can find the best odds at DraftKings for -330.

The wide gap in betting lines stems partly from Kansas City’s dominance over the Raiders in the series. The Chiefs won both 2021 meetings by 27 and 39 points, and have won eight of the past nine in the series.

Patrick Mahomes Over 280.5 Passing Yards (-115, DraftKings)

We could say “Patrick Mahomes,” and that may be enough of a reason to back this prop, but here’s a bonus explanation.

The electrifying Mahomes lights up the Raiders seemingly every time they face each other. Kansas City’s signal caller averages 318.3 passing yards against Vegas, and has exceeded 280.5 passing yards six times in eight career meetings.

For added measure, he’s at home against a divisional rival, and the game will be on primetime, where he’s averaged 291.7 passing yards.

Patrick Mahomes More Passing Yards vs. Derek Carr (-140, DraftKings)

When it comes to big games, including divisional matchups on primetime, some quarterbacks crumble, while other quarterbacks thrive.

In the Mahomes vs. Carr matchup, the former has “out-yarded” the latter on five of eight occasions they’ve met. Mahomes averages 318.3 passing yards in this head-to-head competition, while Carr averages 254.5 – a whopping 64-yard difference.

Carr may have the better overall receiving corps, but Mahomes has the magical passing ability – plus the Travis Kelce.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire Under 48.5 Rushing Yards (+100, DraftKings), Anytime TD Scorer (+100, FanDuel)

Head coach Andy Reid finally let Edwards-Helaire take on a hefty number of carries this year, and he delivered to the tune of 92 yards and two scores on 19 carries against a stout Tampa Bay defense last week. Nineteen carries is a good sign of trust from the coach, but it’s also CEH’s most since Week 5 on 2020, so we’re likely to see some regression against the Raiders on Monday.

The Chiefs’ starting running back is averaging 48.7 yards on the ground over three games against Las Vegas, though he fell under 48.5 rushing yards in two of those contests.

His work as a pass catcher often hurts his rushing yardage totals, but it does wonders for his touchdown count. The versatile back has scored a touchdown in three of four games – and five scores total – this season. He’s also had two touchdowns in two separate meetings against the Raiders.

Bettors can also snatch him at +475 at DraftKings to score twice, which seems like a good value considering he’s had two two-touchdown performances this season.
