I’m always looking for a new place to watch games, have a cold one while grabbing some food. I found one on the Strip called Ringer Wings, Pizza & Sliders, which just opened a little over a month ago inside Planet Hollywood.

The beauty is it’s located right at my two favorite spots in the casino. You can usually find me at a poker table or inside the sportsbook. Ringer is located right next to the poker room just above the sportsbook.

You can catch all the action from one of the 33 plasma screens or get a table. You can ask the waitress to put the game you want on the TV by your table. The waitresses wear referee outfits and these refs never make a bad call.

The place covers all the basic food groups of sports bettors. First you have beer, after all it’s a desert out there. Then you have wings with several different sauces. Wings are a must when watching the games.

They have sliders, which seem to be the craze on the Strip with White Castle opening a few months ago.

Since we had already ordered wings my buddy and I split a 6-pack of sliders. If you are a fan of White Castle you’ll enjoy these as well. Personally, I want a meaty big burger not a basket full of little ones but, hey, everyone has different taste and most people enjoy these sliders.

Lastly they have pizza from the adjacent Pin Up Pizza shop. If you have ever had a slice from Pin Up you know they are huge and good.

Personally, I love the concept of having the restaurant basically in the sportsbook as it gives locals and tourists a nice place to sit and watch the action while betting some games or playing the horses.

They could have easily gouged you with the prices, considering most of the patrons on a daily basis would be tourists, but they didn’t.

I found the prices to be very reasonable considering the location. For that alone I believe Ringer Wings, Pizza & Sliders will do well. They will also get a lot of foot traffic, as it is one of the first things you see when you enter the casino from the Strip or walk by if you are exiting the Miracle Mile Shops out to Las Vegas Blvd.

I give Ringer Wings, Pizza & Sliders 3.25 Forks.
