Baylor 7½ vs. South Dakota St: Baylor had trouble away from home most of the season, but they came up big last week in the Big-12 tournament with a big win against Kansas, just before bowing out to Missouri. Thursday’s game against South Dakota State could be one of the bigger blowouts of the tournament. Baylor is too big and physical for the Jackrabbits. This is a team I like to go far in the tournament, possibly making the final four.

Montana +9 vs. Wisconsin: Montana has won 14 games in a row and are now +9 against a Wisconsin team that rarely wins big? The Badgers are battle tested in the rough Big-10 with tough road games, but I think they’ll overlook Montana a bit and could find themselves being the one of the first big name teams ousted. I have played this game with the spread and also a little on the money line.
MONTANA
Murray St -4 vs. Colorado St: I’m a big fan of Colorado State and the Mountain West conference, but it’s hard to deny how bad they on the road. They didn’t win a conference road game until beating Air Force in their last regular season game. Meanwhile, Murray State just keeps winning. They’ve won seven in a row since losing their only game of the year to Tennessee State and then exacted revenge on them twice in those seven games. They know how to close games out too, helping cover the spread in 6 of those 7 games. This team is on a mission.
